That's exactly what I recommend you to do if you consider picking up PC version of the game. Unless you want to become offline lab monster while online is brokenI'm just going to wait a couple months..
I do get your point, and in theory it makes perfect sense, but in practice Steam forums were full of complaints since MK9 release and games are still being shelled out, so, I conclude, it must still be profitable thing to do. I suppose WB went CCP style: "At this point people we are losing are people we are ok to lose" rather than invest additional money into PC market that may or may not pay off in the future.Dunno whether u just don't get the point or u just feel good for a company that sells u a complete garbage port and asks u to become it's beta tester, while at the same time also gets ur money. Fact is that NRS, unlike other companies, fucked up pretty hard when it comes to making equally good product for different platforms and at the same time lost any remaining respect towards them from PC community (metacritic, steam forums etc) which, as business practice shows, is never good for any company.
I said "Online works there too once established" in that very passage.I agree that u can just get "free demo" as it's really probably the smartest thing to do, but usally online features for such "free demos" are not possible. And I only care about online in MK because there's no other way for me to play this game here where I live since there are no locals / interest in it.
Better online=more competitive scene=more tournaments=more $Its true - business is business. Even if NRS go to meetings every fucking day saying "we need more resources to fix the issues" or "take the PC port off HVS and we will do it" you know what the guy in the fancy suit will say? "lol guys its okay this is the biggest selling MK ever chill out you care too much".
That is exactly what I would say too as a big wig - I care about dollar values on paper not people complaining online.
(Disclaimer: I also complain online.. )
This is true, but there are also additional investments and opportunity costs associated with these, so gotta consider that.Better online=more competitive scene=more tournaments=more $
Lowest common denominator. Every company has the lowest common denominator in mind because they are the bigger audience. The Pros/Die hards only amount for so much.Besides, I'm not sure how avarage NRS customer is perceived by NRS/WB.
Let's add each other on Steam and see if we can practise without lagspikes? That's exactly what I recommend you to do if you consider picking up PC version of the game. Unless you want to become offline lab monster while online is broken
That's good to hear. Hoping the PC patches will hit soon too.The online seems hella better since these last two updates.
