Did anyone of you guys try the option selects on the PC version? They work for me on the PS4 version but i cant get any to work on the PC version getting random moves all the time.
i did try the sub zero option select and couldn't get it to work on PC ... i thought it was because i just suck and was screwing the inputs up

yes that was me... fixed the game i wouldn't say completely there is still much wrong with PC version. But running it in dx10 gives me much much more stable fps and it also added the development section to my options.ini.
I tried it and it didn't work. The simple "-dx10" parameter didn't work. I tried to force the game from another place to run on DirectX10 and the game would just give me a blank screen and it wouldn't run.

i'm not sure if you knew but you don't want the "" when u put in -dx10...Also have u tried setting mkx launch options in steam? not sure if that works but i also have -dx10 under launch options. i don't see a difference when i launch the game from the shortcut and from the steam library now so I think it's working? it's hard to tell tbh.

Yeah I tried every thing but it doesn't work. I'll just forget about it and wait for my WB or HVS support to help my resolution problem.

Anyone know when we are getting the patch that consoles got? Balance, net code, SZ skin, etc?
I asked HVS on FB whoever runs the account told me he will ask when the patch will hit the PC version, but no answer so far (asked yesterday).

But according to Steam DB they were working on the Jason Patch earlier and i think the 1.02 patch added some jason files to the console versions so we might get both together.

That's what I'm expecting at this point; that we'll get them around the same time.

I haven't been having problems playing or connecting to online. The only problem i am having with the online is none of my stats or records will save.. i went 7-0 ranked then 4-0 and then 8-0 and everytime i reset it goes back to 0-0 and none of the stats ever record... same with player match and a few other statistics.

Pretty annoying that i can't try to climb the ladder.

Also queuing for ranked or player vs matches seems to give me nothing but complete noobs... Probably since my record is always 0-0

Blind justice....
Just an update. HVS actually responded to some guy email about bugs etc..

PC patch tomorrow!

HVS:
Thank you for your patience.
The Skin packs/Jason will be available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on May 5.
The good news is: we have a new patch in test currently that should address the other issues (and should be available tomorrow)!

Get your guns on. Sheriff is back.
I am eager for another PC patch to hopefully deal with making it so you can play at min settings. I'm overdue to swap out to NVidia for Phys X anyhow, but I'd like to be able to make it to the end of a tower and actually see all the frames vs the end boss instead of playing psychic frame drop Kombat.

PCGamer review for Mortal Kombat X on PC:

http://www.pcgamer.com/mortal-kombat-x-review/

"In terms of content, you’re getting your money’s worth: this is the most complete Mortal Kombat game ever, predictably brilliant at schlock and surprisingly adept at story. Unfortunately, a limping port lessens the experience for anyone without a godlike machine."

"Reviewed on Intel Core i5-2500k, 16GB RAM, GTX 970"

I have the exact same spec's, i5-2500k sandy bridge, 16gb of 1600, GTX 970. Running, and recording the game with FRAPS I do not see a hiccup in the frames running at a constant 60fps. I greatly disagree with a score of 69, and definitely do not see where they are coming from with the performance with the rig they reviewed the game on.

The smart stuff!
I get it that porting to PC is difficult because of galaxies of different setups. But why on earth haven't they decided to postpone release date on PC as they did with last gen consoles. They are now rushing work that could have been done in peace and quiet should they have more time.

I honestly think many of the problems (initially) sprang from that streaming launch. They may also have been contractually obligated with Steam to release to test said streaming launch, and thus could not postpone.

Likely money related business reasons is why.

The game is also working very well for many, but sadly not so well for many others.

I've literally never seen anyone manually choose the forest stage and I've played like 250ish games so I guess everyone has the visual glitch for it lol

if u go on the left side where the vase is the framerate will suddenly go up for some reasons if u get there before shinnok armored is way through.

FPS AND YOU

MKX is a fighting game. As with any fighting game, the game's timing is tied to its framerate. That's how we get consistent frame data. In any other game it'd be stupid, but this is how fighting games are built - and for good reason! On consoles, you can't mess with video settings. Everyone has the same hardware. You can't buy a better GPU. While people who game on the PC have many reasons to dislike this, there is one benefit: fighting games are much more stable online because of consistent framerates across players.

THE PROBLEM

If you play offline, it might not feel very different playing at 50fps vs 60fps, but the difference is there nontheless. The game is running slightly slower because you aren't getting enough fps. Offline, this isn't a problem. Whatever, the game's running slightly slowers, who cares, right? But online, even if it's a slight difference in framerate, you have two games running at two different speeds trying to play together. This creates loads of stuttering and hitching.

THE SOLUTION

SF4 on PC gets around this problem by forcing all players to run a benchmark before you can play online. If you don't pass this benchmark, you can not play online. I think that if a similar requirement was implemented into MKX, online play quality would increase greatly. Yes, the netcode isn't Killer Instinct quality, but people not running the game well is just going to make whatever lag worse. People need to learn how to turn down their settings. People need to understand that you can't expect to play new games on midrange hardware from 5 years ago at 1080 with everything maxed and expect 60fps.

WHAT YOU CAN DO NOW

Download Fraps or whatever other framerate monitoring program you want. If your FPS drops below 60 during a match, you need to turn your settings down. If it drops while you're loading or when in menus, it doesn't really matter as much. Whether this means turning AA off, turning shadows down, lowering your resolution, or lowering any other setting is going to be on a case by case basis.

TL;DR:Don't play online if you can't get a steady 60fps in-match. You're creating problems for everyone you're playing against. Everyone you play against running at a lower framerate than you is creating problems for you.
