Hey man, The venue was great. Plenty of room for setup and there was even a projector that was able to broadcast the game behind the bar so it was awesome for everyone to watch. We had 6 guys show up altogether and we were able to run a two stage tournament, one being a round robin stage and the second stage consisted of the winner of the round robin going straight to grand finals and the second and third places playing in losers finals.
Hopefully next week I'll get there. The casuals at my house went well. No one stayed for long so I'll move to an earlier time. Shoutouts to @daoutlaw46 for being a super chill sensei and @ackmedterriost1 for coming out even though you don't have the game yet.Cool, I live in Daly City, so anywhere in the city is pretty doable. I'm also in the South Bay and East Bay pretty often, so if there's any casuals down those areas I'm down to drop by.
Haha good to know. You should be getting updates going forward now. I'm gonna talk about casuals with my room mate going forward but we have tossed around the idea of holding casuals on Saturday as well where it could serve as a little practice session before the tournaments on Sunday. Hopefully you can find other guys near you so you guys can carpool in just to make things easier. If all else fails you can also travel in via CalTrain/Bart

The Sunday events should stay consistent as long as people continue to show up and support the scene. Other than that we are trying to pick a day where we can have casuals during the week. Thanks for finally joining and hitting us up!

Awesome! I've been looking to play with more "serious" MK players since I rediscovered MK9 last year. I have friends who are down to play, but are more the casual type players. Are you available next Monday or Tuesday?
Alright man I like the enthusiasm! I should be available both of those days. Would either of those days work for you @QED? If it does let me know. @HugeMcBigLarge and I would be hosting so if we can get at least four people in the room at the same time that would be fantastic. If the two of you end up coming I can make it an official thing and invite more people.
