BF input issues...the struggle is real

For me at least.... I have never had an issue with BF inputs... MKX however... wtf.

If you're using the pad that comes with the system, don't slide between them. Pick up your thumb and tap each, like you do with your right thumb.

Either do that or like @ArcticFahx said, tap, don't slide or you'll accidentally put out a b-u/d- f (button) instead of the precise input. using alternative input can help too if you really have trouble. The ps4 pad sucks for this, I played GG Xrd on it and wanted to do harm to myself.

Go into training and just grind out inputs and look at the input commands on the side of the screen.

try having input shortcuts on, that way if you do d,db it registers as d,b. helps me out on pad, i turn it off on hitbox tho.

Yeah a lot of people are having problems with special moves' inputs. I too sometimes do a standing 4 or F4 instead of a slide with Subby.

But I think we'll adapt soon enough with a little more practice.

I grinded it out in practice and its gone now

especially with jax's f21 into dash punch. sometimes the string f212 comes out instead of f21 bf2

Yeah, I've plugged my ps360+ driven Hitbox in because I just can't get the hang of tapping the pad. Frankly, I'd almost say the Hitbox is the ideal for MK, since discrete directional inputs are all that are needed, rather than circular.

My main issue is the slight lag that comes with online. Otherwise,when it comes to b/f inputs I just raise and press each direction rather than glide my thumb over the pad.
