BTW What time zone is steam even on?! The game in general gets released at 12am in the respected time zone, I can't install MKX and other games until 1:30-2pm EST * I believe Hawaii is last when it comes to the world clock which is 7:30am - 8am there.

I just don't understand when most people can have the game, steam users are the ones getting it last.

I finished downloading the 3GB and it says "Play Game", but when I press it it says that the content is still encrypted. It means that we still have a chance for midnight release though!

Some people on Reddit said that it was 108mb at first then it changed to 3GB. It'll probably be 40GB soon.

That is true. Last chunk was 3 gb.... The anticipation is killing me!

My guess: they're still in the middle of the upload to Steam servers. Unlike the consoles getting a day one patch, they've run down to the wire on committing the final version to PC and the whole thing isn't even ready yet.

I would expect the release to be midnight; I've only ever seen one game be aberrant on that and it was an indie title. No reason for a lot of fearmongering.
