Let's talk: MKX on PC

I just installed, and fired up MK9 tonight on Steam, and tested out a PS4 controller. It has been 4 years since I have touched MK9, I shit you not, and I am so stoked. The PS4 controller is amazing, it really is.

I put together a quick video for everyone, well specifically for this thread.

IKR? DualShock 4 rocks for PCs. Got mine few days ago and it's amazing :)

Im just interested if I configured my inputs right? You have those buttons the same way, that's correct order for PS4's controller?

So... DS4 has official PC drivers at the moment?

I downloaded "DS4Windows" software/drivers as it lets you edit every single button of your controller and enables wireless mode.

If you simply just plugged it - your pc recognizes it as simple controller, or Xbox controller
With DS4Windows program you can change your buttons for it to be like on PS4 system (like in the picture. Without DS4Windows you won't be able to use DS4 in wireless mode

Sony said they would release drivers, but they never did.
You can find 3rd party drivers/programs to be able to play with DS4 on PC.

If you see numbers for buttons instead of Xbox buttons(X,Y,A,B), install Xbox 360 controller drivers.

There's nothing official when it comes to Sony controllers on PC, and imo there will never be.
They act like any generic controller when you plug them in.

BTW. Kombat Pack is around 13$ on nuuvem till 14.04, which imo is great price. It's 30$/e on Steam.

That's why you install Xbox controller drivers and 3d party software to set all the inputs like on Playstation 4.

Whoola - you play and enjoy fighting games with DualShock 4 on PC same as you do on PS4.

But games still show 1,2,3,4... or A,B,Y,X...

I just pre-ordered it for the PC. I will play it on PC first but I am also getting in on PS4 and Xbox One. I'll be on PC day one though. I'm new to PC gaming so I don't know how anything works :/

Its a program from Valve which you have to download, to play MKX you create a steam account add the gamekey to your account and can download the game from there once its released and you can downoad it from there anytime you want.

Its also used for alot of other PC Games - DotA2, TF2, MK9, Injustice, COD, Counter Strike...

Welcome, may ur temperatures be low and framerates high.

As others have stated, do not go to Steam for your MKX purchase. Thats like going to gamestop lol (unless steam sale).

Nuvuum and GreenManGaming are S-tier imo.
