There's so many badass characters in this game I forget about this stud. What a fucking awesome character. I can't wait to try this dude out. Also, I'm incredibly interested in his alternate skins. I'd love to see one without the headdress.

No, but it's quite long and the bad thing is that you don't have any animation to know if it's still effective. It's like 10-15sec.
@SaJa , do you know if the benefits od command grabs in Sun God goes to next round or you need to spend in the round you earn it?

This guy is seriously THE stand out character of MKX to me so far. It's kind of nuts that he has so many buffs and ways to recover health.

Yes, in @SaJa gameplay you see that mb command grab has armor
I ve found in first Kotal E3 footage that not also the benefits of command grab chain goes throug rounds....the chain continues itself!! So it will be easier to do a level 3 than we thought

Have you seen the mace parry yet?? Also Ive seen in his movelist that there is a Master mace parry(MB) ,perhaps you can combo from it, but I repeat,theres no footage of this movement in action yet

I had trouble understanding how the move worked at first, and to be honest I never got the full grasp of using it, but I'm pretty sure it's the same as Wonder Woman's parry in IGAU.

It does have armour when meter burned, very useful because Kotal is negative on almost all of his strings.

because I've played the game. Obviously wasn't final build but Kotal is always between -1 and -6 on his strings.
when did you play? if that was not final it doesnt really mean anything though. he even got a new special and a new string since the demo builds.

Johnny cage press build about 3 weeks ago, same one Saja got to play by the looks of things. Yeah everything can change but tbh Kotal seemed pretty finished.

hm ok 3 weeks is not that Long ago. i hope time will continue proceeding so we will find out.

For the record, -1 to -6 on everything is pretty damn good by NRS standards.

Somehow I feel it will be the norm, with special launchers and such being what's really unsafe. Kinda fits the idea of comboing of low pokes in a sense that you can, but must commit.
 
So I am very interested in kotal visually, however, this will be the first nrs game I will try to play at a competitive level. So what characters in either mk9 or igau "feel" like kotal will? I want to know so I can get a slight headstart on the overall flow of the characters style.
