I don't see it this way -- in a day-zero game, somebody like Ryan Hart or Justin Wong with their level of fundamentals actually stands a chance against just about anyone you can put them up against.

The execution and legacy curve for SF4 are totally different and can't really be compared.

Ryan is a world class fighting game player, it would be silly for people to sleep on him.

We're all guna be brand new to the game, so it'll be all about who learns the fastest!

In a vacuum where all 8 of these players havent touched the game lets say (I know Ketchup has played a little in the UK) but lets just pretend all these players walk into the ESL Arena with just about 0-3 hours of gameplay , the 2 players who might have the edge are SonicFox (cause he fucking good at like EVERY FG, gets Top 8's in like 5 of 7 games usually at events) and Ryan Hart believe it or not because he too is good at diffferent games and has the most experience playing in GIGANTIC Tourney's like the Capcom Cup and what not so nerves would NEVER be an issue for him, he will 100% be the least nervous of the FATAL 8 thats a fact..


Just saying... as far as who I will root for well there are too many good guys in this group to choose.. All good peoples...

Well...... I said SF5 and it would be the exact same scenario, a day-zero Capcom game. This perception that top Capcom players are just godlike period and top NRS players are just godlike AT NRS games is silly.
