John Lennon says hi... oh wait no he didn't.My close family is entirely women, I grew with only women in my house.
You think I've never heard strangers online say some fucked up shit about my ladies? I have, and you know what I thought about it? Nothing, because it was never and will never be worth my time.
I've seen stabbings/shootings/fights over shit online too, and you know what? Those people always knew each other to some degree, if even by proxy.
This is a stranger, nobody from nowhere. Some dickhead who can't even spell isn't going to some not-even-famous guy's house to fuck his wife because some obscure video game character isn't in a game.
Having seen my fair share of online threats, "i'ma fuck [x]" doesn't even qualify as remotely serious to me, especially not in this context.
Is it rude? Undoubtedly. Is it worth this fuss? Not even.
A threat is a threat, plain and simple. I don't understand this whole "because it is online, it is ok" thing.
If I mailed you a letter in cutout magazine letters saying I was going to kill you or rape your wife you would just toss it aside?
Online personalities directly reflect the person behind the keyboard. Take LimboDawg for example, I am 100% sure that guy is an asshat IRL. In fact I fully believe that what you see online is the truest form of a person. So if you are willing to be a complete dickhead online or make threats online when is that going to bleed into the real world?
