Does Test Your Luck Modifiers deconfirm characters?

On the most recent MKX stream, NRS showed off Test Your Luck with new, awesome modifiers.

While it was fun to watch several of the modifiers, the ones that got everybody talking was the character based ones.

There's Kabal Assist, Rain Bubble Assist, Smoke Assist, Stryker assist and Cyrax Bombs (potentially more).

Does this deconfirm these characters? More than likely.

I feel like the only thing you can confirm/deconfirm from the assists is that they have put work into the graphics/effects of those characters signature specials. Which can't be a bad thing, at least in terms of potential DLC.

Is it against your rules to speculate? It's a fair question. There's 7 spots left unless they put Goro elsewhere like they did for MK9 DLC then there is 8. Well, still 4 at most cuz Shinnok, Sonya Blade, Kenshi, and Jax

Shit. Okay. So Jax, Jacqui, Kenshi, Sonya, Shinnok, Erron Black and one more? Fujin, I guess? Even tho he's the only character we've seen or heard 0 about besides the comic

Not because I want him to be in ! because U SIR WITH UR FAVORITE CHAR can be in DLC but RAIN cant !!! So U R THE ONE WHO IS GREEDY and cares about his char only NOT rain fans ! ( i hope this made sm ppl feel sry about there previous opinions about the roster ...)

Does this means they r out then ? 99% yes , sadly

Either Charmander or Charizard is my favorite Char. Not much of a Charmeleon fan. Not sure what this has to do about MKX but I will say to leave those suckers out of the rain or you're in trouble.

Jacqui and erron black are more or less also confirmed, with baraka going a probably 7th based on recent leaks (though he seemed a bit suspect). I'm not messing with you personally dude, just bored with all the speculation. Don't mind me ;)

I just don't get it...

How in the hell does confirmation that certain characters specials / animations are in the game lean towards deconfirmation? I don't understand how people can see a statue of a character and start going, "OMG CONFIRMED!!!!"

But when you see a character's moves and coded in animations in actual gameplay.... "OMG DECONFIRMED!"

Truth is no one knows what the hell they are talking about. using these modifiers as evidence of deconfirmation is the most speculatory and unjustified garbage ever.

Also fuck predator. Guest characters are fine... just not before or instead of franchise staples. Maybe capcom should take out Ryu, Blanka, Vega, and Sagat and put in Chuck Noriss, Dan Severn, Bob the Builder and Buzz Lightyear.

Is your count at or above 30 characters? I will have to dig for it but Boon mentioned 30+ chars for sure...

I can't see them making Stryker a playable character in mkx, if it wasn't for him, i'd say these characters had a chance
