NRS turned some (albeit cool-looking) one-track, close-minded, annoying-ass poster-boy into one of the most epic characters in Mortal Kombat. Ngl, when he was like "Enough for a lifetime", I had a little fan-girl moment.

FFS NRS. I was all set to main Cassie, then you make Kenshi look all cool and shit, now you make Scorpion epic af.

Like, I thought Variations were to promote character loyalty. How can someone be a character loyalist in this damn game.

So think Reiko gets all the daggers before Mileena or Havik betray him? I bet even if he gets the daggers though he wont be what Havik says he'll be cus won't getting all the daggers just release shinnok? So reiko is actually being duped anyways

Quick comment / question on the piracy thing;

Let's say everyone shared the "it's okay to view the comic for free since it's available to me for free" stance.

Let's say only one person buys it and shares it with everyone who wants to view it (this is the internet after all, definitely possible)... Everyone gets to view and it's okay because it was available to them.

The comic book writers make $0.99 per week and no one has done anything "wrong."

Would those in favor of reading it for free be okay with this? Would the comic writers?

Obviously we're somewhere in the middle of that ^ situation and everyone buying their own copy. But I just wanted to share that.

Edit: As a follow up; at any point does it become wrong?

It is really nice that they got someone with respect for the material to finally give these characters life outside the game. There's been so many shit spin offs and tributes and what have you its nice to finally say "this is how big of a badass x is".

It doesn't sound like Reiko knows about or what to do with the daggers, he's just getting them because the cleric told him it would be sweet. I'd much rather see Havik come out on top of this than him anyway, but Havik /is/ suicidal, he might genuinely want to turn Reiko into a blood god and be the first dude he kills.

I have a feeling Reiko gets killed, otherwise I feel like we would have seen him with Mileena or her side of the War in the story trailer. Plus Shawn tweeted out a while back about how Reiko still has a few asses left to kick. Before what though? I think he might die and Havik will become more important to the story.

Brass tax it is wrong and against the law here... But people will find ways to excuse it and justify it in their own mind..

So if a tym member PM's me the comic issue he bought that's wrong? What if he emails it? What if he gives me a copy of MK9 for free? What if he lets me borrow MK9? What if a friend of mine who hates Injustice comes over to my house and plays the game, and still has no intention of buying it? What if I let said person borrow Injustice for the weekend knowing he has no intention of buying it and he gives it back after completing the story??

Is it only wrong when posted on TYM but perfectly ok in private and in other situations?? No one has answered this yet.

Weak ass arguments. A person who pays for a copy has as much right to post it as he does to email it to me or just give it to me for free in my hand because he's done with it.

I'll "support" with my already pre-ordered $100 towards the game with my Kombat Pack as well as buying an extra copy for my other system and who knows what else. You guys can keep "supporting" with your 99 cents ever so often and your one time purchase of MKX. Everyone "supports" in their own way. Done with this topic.

It is perfectly ok in private for physical copies but one you start duplicating digital copies you are technically breaking the law. It is Piracy to take you games and burn copies of them to distribute to your friends, just as it is illegal to make copies of digital comics, movies, books, etc., and distribute them to your friends. Thing is, people usually don't get caught because they (the government) usually only goes after people who deal in incredibly large quantities of these things, but still, you are breaking the law if / when you do this.

We know their roots

Ferra/Torr
The dual being known as Ferra/Torr is mysterious even to their closest allies. It's rumored that Torr and Ferra were Outworld citizens, captured and permanently tethered to each other by the evil sorcerer Shang Tsung in the bowels of his Flesh Pits. They're more likely members of a forgotten symbiotic race, in which the 'rider' bonds with a 'mount.' The rider, Ferra, serves as the de facto brains of the duo, while the hulking Torr is the muscle. It's possible they communicate with each other telepathically, or that Ferra can actually understand Torr’s booming grunts. Found roaming the Tarkatan Wastes by Kotal Kahn’s troops, Ferra/Torr were pressed into service as the emperor’s personal bodyguards.
