Thats why they call this thing bloodsport, kid.
Roster's diversity rate is pretty damn low. Too many earthlamers:joker:
I feel you on his. It's already MK special forces edition: Family matters. Faction features seem a bit tacked on and pointless. We have factions like black dragon and Lin kuei with 1 whole member while special forces has 6 or so. There's no sense of faction pride since it's irrelevant and pretty much a cosmetic choice. Not that I know a better way to do it but at that point why even have it.

It's a minor gripe, I don't really mind and people can rep their faction all they want, it doesn't affect me. I'd just like to see more and different online features like KotH and built in tournament tools, social interfaces, video replay hubs, matchmaking options etc.

Get staffed bro
The thing is, even if the games netcode is 'as good as' Injustices, it will have little to no bearing on the sales of the game. I don't feel like NRS have much of an incentive to sort it out, even though it's widely acknowledged that their netcode is well below the competitions. It's such a shame as they are very good in other areas such as story, frame data and more recently training mode.

It's for sure my biggest and only real concern.

The online for me, I'm expecting it to be on par with Injustice and maybe a little better. I'm hoping I'm wrong but that's my expectation.

tbh I dont care about reviews
never cared about reviews when buying a SF game
I just hope MKX gets a replay channel kinda like USF4

I hope there is something better than daily challenges to keep us wanting to do new things each time we are on the game... I hope the player cards are really cool aswell and do you know when you view your stats, like in injustice you would have a portrait, and on the card it would say all the details like who you played the most in 1v1 or KOTH, well I think instead you should have have a full body 3d character model alongside your stats, kinda like a trophie but they move around and stuff

Other than that, online better not suck as much as injustice did, I hope to the heavens that NRS noticed the problem and fixed it and made it amazingly better.

Online should NOT be region locked, and if you are fighting online random ranked you should be paired with player around your skill level so you are always challenged to play better and develop as a fighter.

I also think if someone rage quits they should either loose a ton of XP, or go down 3-5 levels

Kinda have team war system where you and your team will be shuffled and matched with someone from another team and fight until there are only two left... Correct me if this is what was said in the Next trailer... But that would be a cool idea

The only morality in a cruel world is chance.
Online of course and also like someone else stated, I hope NRS pays attention to balance issues after all the DLC characters get released. Like how we wish there would've been 1 final patch in MK9 to tone down Kenshi and a few others and/or buff the lower tier characters a bit.

A shallow moveset across variations, which in turn will lead to balancing issues.

Just looking at the leaked movelists for half of the cast --and after double-checking and comparing said movelists with footage from past streams to verify their accuracy-- I'm afraid their attempt to add a "flavor" system to the game will backfire badly. Instead of getting a cast of characters that will feel whole each, I'm worried we'll be getting incomplete characters regardless of the variations available.

I'm most worried about the story being complete and utter shit. It is just so promising right now that if it came out to be a turd it would be heartbreaking!

Next up is the fear of too many similar characters...

Yeah. They really fucked up with MK9's story. Hopefully they can redeem themselves.

Biggest fear is that the Run mechanics will be too weird. But a close 2nd is bad netcode.
This same thing for me but in reverse. With the way the run input is currently (assuming there are no alternative inputs to choose from), can you imagine being online with lag and trying to come out of a dash straight into a block without going into a run? Sure, you can double tap block in this situation to cancel the dash into a run into a block, but that sounds clunky to me.

Concerned only one variation of each player will be viable, but contrary to that.. if each variation is significantly different enough there could be major balance issues. Hopefully it is somewhere in the middle of both those concerns!

NRS taking nerfs/buffs suggestions from scrubs who play only online and don't intend to go to tournaments in any way....or from people who plan to play the game for only a week-month then drop.

This is a big no no for me
