I'm gonna go ahead and say that they'll have more than 4 DLC characters. I'm guessing around 5 or 6. Reiko, Fujin, Cyrax, Smoke, guest character, and Tanya would be the most pleasing to most I assume.

Something I just thought of about the leak... I don't think Goro will have his own character slot. I mean, he will, but since he is a 'preorder only' type character, he will be selectable from the random select area (Just like you could select Skarlet, Kenshi, Rain, Freddy). That means there will be another character slot which could fit another MK4 era character.

I was thinking about that too was reiko in that one photoshopped roster? cause I think he might be the guy you unlock by beating story mode this time.

Could be the slot he is in now is the dlc slot...and the random slot only does random..

More or less yes... Depends on what studio and such as several terms are used and feature lock could be well before all cuts are final.. So he could be talking get about a opening or end video or some such thing... But yeah odds are it's a trailer...

so i'm reading my MKX comics and i was wondering what exactly is the relationship between raiden and fujin?
are they friends are they lovers are they related by blood somehow? the last one seems most likely cause they both have white hair and eyes. maybe we should twitterspam the kombatkast with this question what do yall think?

He didn't give another hints, but added to favorites posts about Story Mode. At the same time, Tyler said, that we'll see the next stream in the near future. And of course, they promised to answer questions about Story mode.

My conclusion: they will show us some of Story mode on the stream. If the first chapter is already available on the Game Developers Conference, they can show us this chapter. Maybe they have already invited Adam Urbano, which again tells something extra :D

Uh no, they are both gods. Raiden is the thunder god and Fujin is the wind god, they're just friends. Heard of google? ;)

Well the "lovers" part i'm like lolwtf but the blood relation actually is a good topic. In the MK4 manual it actually does state that Raiden/Fujin are brothers but it was never confirmed to be canon. Honestly I would love it if it was, that would be cool as fuck.

I also really like in the comics how Fujin says "You never learn" like they have a history of this shit and he knows how Raiden is. It makes me wonder what type of crazy shit these two have done together, or experienced. Like they've fought Shinnok's forces in the heavens but we've never really seen them do stuff together.

Nah, wouldn't want to be brothers with someone that just messes everything up all the time ;) yeah I think Fujin is the smart one, Raiden is reckless and although his intentions are noble his actions are not always so noble.

I was looking at Fujin's MK wiki page and it says he recruited Kung Lao to fight Raiden and Liu Kang's corpse. Interesting...I'd like to see that in MKX!

Yeah I agree that Raiden is reckless but I would definitely hate to be on the bad side of Raiden. He's definitely got your back, like when Motaro was fighting Johnny on the bridge Raiden super manned that bitch lol. I think they kind of cancel each other out in a way (Raiden and Fujin).

Yeah I remember that, IIRC they actually end up defeating them and they restore Raiden to his former self. It looks like they will be fighting some revenants in this game but I hope it's not just Raiden doing all the fighting :(
