Posting it here in case it amounts to something later or one of you knows its source:
I'm more confused by the fact that not only is it not a flat texture, but it has a lot of unique details(the most notable of which is the large belt she has with the LK symbol as the buckle) and that it is actually a different costume than Subzeros though they look very similar:
We've never had a shot of Sub's model from this angel so it isn't a distortion.
even more odd is that the background in that picture(what little of it isn't black) is actually the mountains in the background of the new Lin Kuei stage, as well as a few of the tall gras sprouts seen scattered around it, at the bottom of the picture.
You can see a clear shot of it in the Brutality trailer.
It isn't a rip from any footage as we have never actually gotten a clear shot of those mountains not obscured by the statue or snow, in that much detail.
It's low detail, but it still has the same texture "flow" as the models in the game so far.
I'm sure it's some kind of BS, but it's really puzzling.
