Erron or Ermac maybe. Ermac serves the Emperor and he might feel that Mileena is more worthy of that title. Erron is a gun for hire, if he sees an opportunity he might switch sides.

Wild speculation, but I think Quan Chi is going to trade the Amulet with Mileena for Shao Kahn's hammer.

Anyone else thinking that the red thing that rises from one of the buildings and then circles the special forces plane, in the story trailer, is something to do with the blood code?

Yeah I think it might have something to do with the blood magik or this demon from another realm that Raiden mentioned. It excites me...

I personally want to know more about this Talisman though, I don't think it's the same as Shinnok's Amulet, could be Kamidogu?!

Curiously.. we know that this 'demon' that entered from another dimension happened during the NRWar... perhaps that amulet was the trigger? Capturing Shinnok in it caused something else to escape from it? It'd make sense for the amulet to be related to this hidden nemesis. But I also somewhat believe the 'escaped demon' might be a comic plot thread too.

He was sacrificed by a cult to a demon, but came back as an Enenra and killed all of them in vengeance. I don't know if the "Enenra" are technically demons or something else entirely. We don't really know much about them other than his ending.

I've just checked again. And I'm pretty certain that the amulet Quan Chi has in MK9 is the exact same thing as this Talisman.

Could be Raiden got it while fighting him.. Quan acquired it later... Maybe Mileena teams with the brotherhood.. They always wanted all realms not just out world... Maybe they see her as someone they can manipulate and promised her out world knowing she would release shinnok somehow..

Yeah, as I understand it atm:
Shinnok creates it.
Raiden battles him and traps him inside it.
He then stores it in some temple which Sub-zero steals for Quan Chi.

Then anything can happen, personally, I think Quan Chi trades it with Mileena for Shao Kahn's hammer.

Plot twist when Quan trades her for the hammer, gets Kotal out of the picture, then swaps the one he traded for a fake.
Mileena tries to use it on him, and we get that classic Quan Chi laugh

Could be her alternate costume. But you can see in the trailer also Ermac and Reptile there. If someone betrays Kotal its all 3.
