So in the MK9 NRS stream today the Commentator (Hector) continued to tease that "we haven't done Friendships yet". Although it is a tease, people haven't been trying hardcore to mine the game like the old ones because at least for me I've been trying to get better at the game and not discover secrets. Infact, I never even check what's in the Krypt and just bought the costumes and I was out.

Anyone think there's a slick chance it can be in the game?

Reasoning = some people sole purpose is to uncover data mining and report to certain sites. If we have not seen anything resembling that by now, we wont. Unless patched.

The devs used to say that in Asheron's Call too, after it'd been out for over 10 years. After that amount of time, it's either put up or shutup - if no one's found it, no one will.

I think it's wishful thinking on our part, but some things are so obscure that anything is possible. Odds are though that if the dat miners haven't found anything and the best players haven't stumbled onto it, there isn't anything to be found. The announcer is probably feeding the rumors much like Boon, Tobias & Co. let us believe that Skarlet existed before MK9. They rightly guessed that letting us gossip and wonder would keep us playing

I'm willing to bet that there will be an Ultimate MK9 edition with a few additional characters, addition stages, rebalanced gameplay and added friendships/animalities.

I doubt they are in MK9 otherwise they would have been found already.
