Top 3 Corner Characters

Jaiyson

So the corner meta in Injustice is really strong for some characters . So I just wanna know from you guys the TOP 3 Characters that you hate to have you in the corner.
The characters that makes you cringe just at the mere thought of them having you in the corner.
The ones that instill a level of fear that makes you think its hopeless and the game is over until you block correctly. For me I really hate being in the corner against:

1. JOKER
OTG , teeth resets and cross-ups adds up to my worst nightmare. Joker corner pressure is insane and can really lose your entire health with his corner shenanigans

2. Doomday

Earthshaker and wake-up reversals .. His Trait makes the corner experience even worst..

3. Batgirl/WonderWoman= TIE!!

I really cant deal with these character once they get started.
Can I just add that Batgirl's vortex is even more ridiculous in the corner. 50/50s and cross ups which can lead into another vortex or great corner damage..
WoWo is the Mix-up Goddess. OTG, Crossups and Stuffing wake-up with 50/50 (Catwoman's atleast)

Yea so thats my list of characters that I really try to avoid the corner at all cost..but sometimes its inevitable due to their strong corner carry game.

HeroesNZ

Baconlord's Billionaire Sugar Daddy
Off of the top of my head, I hate being in the corner against:
- Superman
- Batgirl
- Flash

Rickyraws

This mean you don't like me?
I think inconsistent corner recognition glitch has the best corner game.

Causing the character to face the opposite direction while they attempt to combo their opponent is hella dirty. I definitely don't want to be in the corner when my character totally ignores the opponent and starts comboing the other way.

Doombawkz

Trust me, I'm a doctor
Bane doesn't have dirt in the corner so much as when other characters go into the corner, they instantly lose any advantage they had in the MU.

I'd say Flash, Joker, and Grundy, personally.
Batgirl doesn't really have anything new aside from higher damage potential, but Grundy in the corner is a monster because he can actually touch you.

Probably because it's one of the hardest moves in the game to block consistently? It becomes even harder when the Doomsday player mixes up how they use it. They can do it raw, from d1 (arguably the easiest one to block), f2, f23, b1, b213, etc.
Naw, little homie. DD is a bill.

Tournament results from real players (that wouldn't be you) indicates otherwise. ..."homie".
Look homedawgz, everyone knows tournament results don't tell the full story so let's nip that right there.

And EarthShake isn't hard to block.

Tournament results don't tell the full story? Please elaborate.

ATP2014

The best mediocre Batman
1. Bane - You lose the ability to escape his mixups by backdashing, making it much easier for him to mix you up. Will also likely be on level 2 or 3 venom, making each hit that much more painful.

2. Doomsday - Easy wakeup reversal, multiple mixups based on Earthshaker/sweep/throw/cross-up body splash, and trait makes it impossible to counter-poke even if you block correctly

3. Flash - Various cross-up/non cross-up mixups that are impossible to react to, leads to lots of damage with or without trait, each combo results in a hard knockdown that forces you to guess on another setup

Any amount of money that earthshake will rape you vs any of these top DD in tourny. $$$$$ (p.s dont wake up)

side note DD's corner game gets wrecked by teleports. But DD has ways to deal with it, but takes away from his corner game.

GA made top 8. Moving on.

Is it really a big deal to admit that EarthShake isn't some unblockable, cheap move outside of scrubby online players' circles? Imo, it's only "hard to block" cos you're worrying about DD's other options (Sweep, Throw, d1 Supernova ayyy)

You do know that some of these guys spend hours perfecting the art of ES. Getting timings down to a frame of where the overhead meets the low. Changing which side it hits. And yes the options are what makes some of them hit. The point being, you are going to get hit.

What does Green Arrow making Top 8 have anything to do with what I said? You're claiming that Doomsday is a bill and I refuted that by saying the real tournament players, which you clearly are not amongst, have shown otherwise.

There's no arguing it.

Secondly, no one that's worth their salt at this game will EVER seriously claim that Earth Shake is unblockable. Ever. It's just very hard to block, especially if your opponent knows how to mix it up, make it meaty, etc. The only person I've ever seen block it in a godlike manner is @EMPEROR_THEO. But even he gets hit with it.

Lex without a doubt.

At the very minimum you have to guess right on two consecutive 50/50s to get out after a probe setup, and 3 or more after a trait setup.

And if you are close to being finished off: guaranteed level 3 lance blast setups for an extra 13% damage.

Superman has scary corner combos, but he can't open the opponent up as easily without a 50/50 against standing opponents.

Eh, that's situational. Generally ES itself isn't hard to block. The threat of his other options or specific tendencies of the DD players is why people get hit. That's what I'm saying.

How are you not getting that tournament results aren't an accurate reflection of a character's tools/tier in the game. I thought this was universally agreed on by like everybody lol. Being a tournament player doesn't mean you're automatically the ultimate authority of what is and isn't, either.

Is GA somehow not a bill cause he has several top 8s under his belt?
