Idgaf where exactly he stands in the rankings (gotta be top 5) but I've never had more fun in a fighter than when I'm flinging my opponent into the corner then back out of the corner then back into the corner for 70%+ with Grundy. His corner game is so swagtastic and lulzy. And he's gotta be top 1 when it comes to being cornered for the above-mentioned combo potential off a MBWC.

How are you not getting that tournament results aren't an accurate reflection of a character's tools/tier in the game. I thought this was universally agreed on by like everybody lol. Being a tournament player doesn't mean you're automatically the ultimate authority of what is and isn't, either.

Is GA somehow not a bill cause he has several top 8s under his belt?

I never said anything about tiers, so mentioning that in any way is irrelevant.

But fine, since you want to ask questions, I'll ask you this one: What DOES give an accurate reflection of a character's tools if it isn't the character being played at the highest level in a tournament?

Also, I never said that tournament players are the ultimate authority about anything. It's the results that do the talking, not what the player says.

Does anyone else agree with me that green lantern gets worse in the corner? I swear hes so much better mixing you up mid screen than he is in the corner, also doesn't some of his shit whiff in the corner too?

to bad clash exists and cyborg burns meter for that dmg i wish clashing wasn't in the game honestly.

He gets some high damage in the corner and interesting setups with turbine but he's a midscreen character. Same shit with Aquaman.

Joker's corner game is WAY over hyped. All of his mixups in the corner are easily fuzzied between crowbar and low gas. If you block just pushblock and Joker is back in his trash in the winter time neutral game.

1) Batgirl/Zatanna in terms of dirt, at least from what I've seen.
2)Bane/Doomsday/Lex in terms of "lol good luck getting up"
3)MMH/Flash/Superman in terms of pressure.

There's no arguing it.

Secondly, no one that's worth their salt at this game will EVER seriously claim that Earth Shake is unblockable. Ever. It's just very hard to block, especially if your opponent knows how to mix it up, make it meaty, etc. The only person I've ever seen block it in a godlike manner is @EMPEROR_THEO. But even he gets hit with it.

The other one I've watched is @gross
He blocks it EVERY TIME it's insane.

I'm surprised there's no mention of people hating to be in the corner against Deathstroke. His corner game is flat out ridiculous.

I actually agree with you wholeheartedly, except that you forgot to add Grundy to the 2) section. Awesome how all the big hitbox characters don't let you up.

I think batman has the best corner game because darth arma does anti-air grapple into cross up f3, godlike

Lex literally has armor where he can blow through ANY thing including pushblocks, overhead and low starter , 35+ percent combos that link into trait again to start it all over again.

Lex has the best corner game imo free. Anyone else with a 50/50 you can at least push block them off of you if they get you in a blockstring, not lex.

Joker can bounce cancel f3 and beat ur pushblock game so its not a get out of jail free card all the time. BANE LEX Zatanna has a really nasty corner game as well
