It's all dependant on how your body is. I'm 5'8", 140-145lbs and was benching over 160 back in high school. I also ran around like a nut from birth to about age 17/18 when I graduated high school and became lazy. I also did Tae Kwon Do since the age of 7 and that helped me to build dense muscle as well. At the age of almost 26 and being physically inactive for the most part, its a big difference from then and now. Although I have recently started lifting again and feel the power of a thousand moons coming back to me. And even tho I got really strong and can feel myself getting stronger, I just can't gain muscle mass.
My metabolism is out of this world and if I don't eat relatively large meals every 2-3 hours, I feel like I'll die of hunger. I'm okay with where I'm at because I'm still really fast with my body movements (as far as fighing goes/MMA), but I hate not being able to bulk up and I know that mostly revolves around a specific diets. Anyways, good luck Soup and enjoy the beauty of, "Lifting things up and putting them down!" Lol.
