If it's like the MKII TE hack, MAME along with the odd arcade cabinet installation. And MKII TE did work in Kaillera, as long as all participants had the proper updated MK2.zip file.So who are we going to play this? mame? Hope this works to play online. The sound issues have nothing to do with the game. That is all emulator related. So who are we going to play this? mame? Hope this works to play online. Also please fix sounds if it will be played on mame.
And it can be ported to work on MKAK for PC. It has unmodified arcade ROMs and runs them through an emulator. The game doesn't check the ROM before loading it so it'll load and run the modifications. If it's like the MKII TE hack, MAME along with the odd arcade cabinet installation. Not sure what effect that would have on netplay. But at least there's a way to go buy something and then apply the mod to it!
You will block for 3 frames any time you press the block button once, IIRC.there is a delay of 3 frames before animation takes place, if u press block on any frame after the first active frame of individual move is presented, u get hit
u don't ever need to hold block for more than single frame (~1/55 of a second)
this is how i thought it works
What relaunch?...I think that factor is relevant… and having a relaunch...
i'm sorry to say it, but that doesn't appear to be rightYou will block for 3 frames any time you press the block button once, IIRC.
Yeah and UMK2 does work in p2p also. The first time I tried it there was a weird rom error message, so I thought it had something to do with the hacked rom. Later on, I tried again with someone else and we were able to play.If it's like the MKII TE hack, MAME along with the odd arcade cabinet installation. If you don't like the Mame32k .64 sound and graphic issues. Get a newer version of MAME. I suggest Mame32++ .119.So who are we going to play this? mame? Hope this works to play online. Also please fix sounds if it will be played on mame.
No one should.I would not waste a penny on MKAK PC.
IIRC, 119 won't play the Roms online properly, and only 64 will.Yeah and UMK2 does work in p2p also. The first time I tried it there was a weird rom error message, so I thought it had something to do with the hacked rom. Later on, I tried again with someone else and we were able to play.

Ha, I was JUST about to ask that too, as I was just pondering….What relaunch?...
We have an idea to limit them that will eliminate probably 50% of them within the 2nd volley attempt.Ha, I was JUST about to ask that too, as I was just pondering….
So did they deal with (remove) relaunches?
I've been primarily using 119 to play online for well over a year (UMK3 Juggernaut Hack). I don't like using 119 on Kaillera, but in p2p its very smooth and reliable.IIRC, 119 won't play the Roms online properly, and only 64 will.
MKAK has its benefits. There are MK1, MK2 and UMK3 ROMs on my computer right now, and they are 100% legal :-DNo one should.
Imagine getting busted because of illegal MK roms. Lmao.MKAK has its benefits. There are MK1, MK2 and UMK3 ROMs on my computer right now, and they are 100% legal :-D
Any news or ideas the hacker has in mind for Reptile ?I agree that Smoke is currently overnerfed.
On another note, Shang Tsung can now morph into Smoke, Human Smoke, and Noob Saibot!
So after seeing this, I definitely want to reiterate what I was saying about male ninjas being able to teleport out of the corner when the opponent was blocking. Admittedly, I didn't have time to watch all of the videos, but I saw enough attempts at TP baits for me to want the option to bait from the corner back in the game.http://testyourmight.com/threads/umk-3-tournament-edition-exhibition-featuring-reo-vs-juggs.46494/#post-1507901
REO vs Juggs in UMK3:TE, on MAME.
People will also just start picking Ermac if he can and they can't, leaving Scorp and Smoke extinct in terms of kompetive/tournament play (something we really, really dont want. We want as broad and diverse of a character selection for tournament level play as possible for the sake of the game). So after seeing this, I definitely want to reiterate what I was saying about male ninjas being able to teleport out of the corner when the opponent was blocking. I hope the hacker considers what I'm saying and allows HSmoke and Scorp to TP out of the corner when the opponent is blocking.
Yeah, but Ermac has a huge cooldown on his teleports now. He really can't use it for transportation the way he could in vanilla.People will also just start picking Ermac if he can and they can't, leaving Scorp and Smoke extinct in terms of kompetive/tournament play (something we really, really dont want. No reason to take it from two of them and not Ermac. Should be equal to all 3.
And yet people still go balls to the wall claiming that he's the scrubiest character in the game.I really dont get why Robo Smoke was nerfed so hard.... dealing with his invisibility is fine but he was borderline perfect... he was not overpowered and he was not top tier... he was simply... viable. Not very viable, not barely viable.... Viable. I think people often base his problems around netplay, and how hard it makes to fight him online.... But you rarely see robo smoke in the top 8's, finals, anything post Swiss in high level tournaments played offline...
