MKX will have 'almost' as many new characters as MK: Deception in this BGS interview

In this new interview Ed Boon was asked about the new blood in MKX and he said that MKX will introduce a lot of new blood but *maybe* not as Deception.

MK Deception had only 8 new characters to MK, 10 if we include Zombie Kang and Noob/Smoke as a team. This is news to me because in almost every interview I had this feeling we'll get like 60% characters. Now, it's a different story cause this shows we'll just get max half the roster of new characters.

What do you guys think about that? Are you happy about that or you were hoping for more new characters?

I have a mixture of feelings lol, I mean I'm happy there's more slot for our MK favorites to come back, but at the same time I was preparing myself for new characters, new abilities etc. Idk at the same time when I saw MK deception's select screen it shows how terrible the new characters were

I honestly dont mind 50% new 50% old Characters if they are well designed. DLC Characters gonna be like 90% (or all) old Characters anyway i think.

I was expecting half the cast new and half the cast old.

Cassie, D Vorah, Sun God, Fera tor, are actually new cast.

Raiden, Quan chi, sub zero, scorpion and kano are old cast. So the old have more then the new right now

Not really fussed in ratio of old/new characters as long as Mileena is in it.

Quality of the game > Amount of characters. Not to mention there's 3 versions of each character. Also half the roster being new characters would be a lot imo.

Fuck I can't argue with you there I'd rather have quality over quantity, but I would have like to see at least a 50/50 ratio
