Even if they aren't. They are. Fuck activision.I'd wager that Activision is probably to blame.
I agree with you 100%.Even if they aren't. They are. Fuck activision.
Do people here even know how good you were in Halo? lol.. When I saw you on this site, i was like no way thats THE Zyos, and then my friend The_SNKE told me that you are. Im still not sure haha but if you are, thats crazy! You were pretty much the best Halo 1 player in the world for the span of that games life (probably between you and the Ogre brothers right?). I played Halo competitively in California and on XBC and my friends and I used to watch videos of you playing and learn so much shit.. Pick up the plasma rifles through the walls on Wizard, shooting the AR after grabbing invisibility for the instant frames, XXY auto reload... Good times. Nothing will every touch Halo MP.. Its awesome that you play NRS games too, I thought I was the only one hahaI picked this up becuase im not a story guy at all and everyone said this will change my mind, well they were wrong its rinse and repeat missions with no reall diffrence. The only reason i hit my level 20 is because of pvp, multiplayer was always how i liked shooters.
But being an fps player i have a few major gripes for online, they need to take care of the whole shotgun/fusion rifle non sense especially the damn warlock/ shotgun weapon balance in general doesnt make sense and to quickly sum up my issues i feel you die to quick ( should be more like halo) if you have a shield you shouldnt die seemingly as fast as cod.
They can learn it's not set in stone but they need to change it quick to get the attention of gamers back. They were hella lazy when it came to boss battles.
Besides the Devil Walker, every single boss is just a bigger version of a minion. Every single one. They're just stronger, send out ads, and are bullet sponges. They all require the same strategy to beat too.
Ugh this game has so much potential but was fucked big time
Lol. It is funny what Bungie is choosing to address. All in all it is a moot point because once you hit iLevel 29-30 there is nothing to do. All this will do is allow people to reach max rank faster. They need to release their grip on the other 14 GB of game they have hidden away. The 1.0.2 patch will go live next week, and includes several changes to the Cryptarch and Engram experience. These changes guarantee that Engrams will always decode into items at or above the quality of an engram.
Only Engrams that drop after 1.0.2 are subject to this change.
Cryptarch Changes
Cayde-6 took the Cryptarch aside and showed him a sack of doorknobs. He decoded that mystery pretty quickly.
Activity Changes
- Legendary Engrams will always produce Legendary or better quality items, including Materials or Exotics
- Rare Engrams will always produce Rare or better quality items
- Rare engrams will have an increased chance to produce Legendary quality items
Credits to @Eldriken
- Daily Heroics, Weekly Heroics, and Vanguard: Tiger Playlist activities will include Rare and Legendary Engrams in addition to their existing rewards
- Ascendant materials have been promoted to Legendary to closer associate them with the gear they are used to upgrade
- Legendary Engram items that exist in your inventory will be demoted to Rare quality when the patch goes live, so decode them while you can. But let's be honest—even if you don't, we all know they were blues already...
People are complaining because this is Bungie we're talking about. Do you think anyone actually questioned their ability to deliver an absolutely stellar game, especially with how they hyped it up prior to release? If you don't like they game, SELL IT instead of bitching abt everything that the makers of the game did wrong. Say what you want abt the game, it's still good. I'm gonna keep continuing to play, just as 90% of everyone on here is gonna keep bitching about it. What game didn't have bugs and problems with it when it first came out? Wait for the patches, which is good abt modern day games. They can fix that shit and they're already working on it.
I bet $500 once they do the next patch and fix all the stuff that needs to be fixed, someone's gonna make a thread bitching abt the patch.
I can't say much abt this. Never was big on halo so I have no opinion on itYes, it's our own fault if we bought into the hype, but we had good reason to because of Bungie's history.
yikes, im not sure sure if that's a good fix. id rather keep the legendary engrams as they are (super rare) definitely fix the chances of the being decoded into an ACTUAL legendary (not necessarily 100% but much higher than it currently is) but make the contents of the engrams better than purchasable gear. IMO vanguard/crucible gear should not be identical to gear you get from a 1 in 2000 drop. looks like this update is just going to make it that much easier to reach the Lv26-28 range :/The 1.0.2 patch will go live next week, and includes several changes to the Cryptarch and Engram experience. Yah, I actually wasn't even going to get it, then they let you try the beta for free, and I loved it. The free beta basically sold the game to me, but I figured there would be so much more, oh well. Still pretty fun game, it will probably be awesome down the road. I really wish Crucible was better and more fleshed out there, with more maps. If Crucible was better I don't think there would be as many people hating on it right now.I really hope we get more classes to play as. Only having 3 at launch is un-fucking-acceptable. The sub-classes don't count because they're not vastly different than the other barring a few things.
I really do love this game, but I'm kicking myself in the ass for buying into the hype.
Well in fairness, you haven't offered up any arguments either. "I don't see any flaws in this game" is just an opinion. A fair one, don't get me wrong (though one many disagree with), but equally lacks substance, and reaaaaaally verges on hyperbole. Very few games are without flaws, and to state that Destiny, of all games, is without flaws is a bit of a stretch. His list is full of ridiculous false cause and effect, vague statements, generalizations, lack of context, and opinionated statements.
Wow what a line. Very well said.I don't have to be a chef to judge a meal. .
This just made coffee come out of my nose at work.Cayde-6 took the Cryptarch aside and showed him a sack of doorknobs. He decoded that mystery pretty quickly.
Lol, this is what the group of friends I play with constantly say while we're playing Destiny. They are also my IRL friends and part of my OG Halo 2 crew. We are basically playing Destiny as filler until November, that's when the real fight begins! So pumped to finally be able to play my most favorite game of all time online again, you have no idea (maybe you do, idk).Yeah destiny was disappointing, but who cares? Halo 2 anniversary soon.
