Bastion, Lost Odyssey, Cthulhu Saves the World, Sacred 2, Legend of Legaia, Xenoblade, Shadow of the Colossus, Zone of Enders 1/2, Otogi 1/2, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Chaos Legion, Disgaea, Kingdom Hearts 1/2, Fatal Frame 1-3, Silent Hill 1-3, Onimusha 1-3 and several others that I can't think of because I'm at work and too tired to remember.

I'll post more later.
Absolutely yes. I love the hell out of this game and it probably has one of my favorite soundtracks of all time.
Hmm I have Bastion on Steam but haven't installed it. Looks like I will. Very soon.

Honorable mentions:

Machinarium: A smart, sweet, funny indie game with brilliant puzzles. Totally worth checking out.

LIMBO: A great indie game with a very dark theme. I loved playing it.

What a day. What a lovely day.

Any fan of large, sprawling fantasy games should check this one out. There's tons of weapons to find, armor to wear, and spells to discover (and you can change spells by inputting directional commands on your controller, which I always found awesome lol). Plus, you get to ride a fucking dragon all over the place!

This was probably one of the most majestic games I've ever played, and for being an early PS2 game it still looks pretty good IMO.

A lot of you have probably heard of broforce, but haven't played it yet. Well, it's a ton of fun and you should check it out.

REZ- easily one of the best games ever made. It is an experience like no other and I highly recommend looking into this game. It's damn near impossible to find but there are ways to get it. :) Here's the wiki page http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rez

Bushido Blade- I'm guessing this game doesn't require much explanation for some of you. Please try it if you never have. It's a ton of fun.

Greetings, Mortal
This thread brings back so many forgotten memories. Surprisingly I've played the large majority of games posted.

Eryi's Action is a newish, cheap death platformer that's soooo well done. Anyone who loves a good platformer should try it out.

Anyone who loves Dark Souls should check out Ecco the Dolphin. It's the original Dark Souls.

State of decay (no relation).Best zombie survival I've ever played. It really makes you feel like your time earth is limited and so are the supplies. You have to take care of all your survivors in the group and any mission could be the last one they go on. Highly recommended for zombie enthusiasts like myself as well as anyone who likes persistent open world games. It's downloadable on xbla

Ecco the Dolphin is one of my all time favorites. I really liked Ecco the tides of time too!

They have a game on the PS Now beta called Enslaved, that game was really good. Very Uncharted like and super fun. Over!

Decay

King of the Bill

Also this game. It's the best side scolling beat em up ever made, better than streets of rage 2. It's got crazy story lines that you choose. It has awesome characters and hand drawn sprites with fighting game mechanics like street fighter. There's a mode where you can battle 6 players in an arena and pick anyone in the game including OP godlike bosses as well as regular ass civilians. It got a rerelease on xbla so download dat.

Nurgle Chaos God of Death and Disease

Nice thread.
This game was so under rated, I remember I started playing this game one morning and then next I knew it was like 8 at night, I loved this game and so wish it would get a remake. It was so cool how every mission had countless ways to complete. My favorite class was the Toredor because of their speed.

So few I know have ever played this game, it was a launch title that didn't sell well and the developer even put out it will never get a sequel. It was a great game that was so different and fresh when it came out and it story was fun to unfold. Even though you had to play it twice to complete the story it still didn't feel that way.

I never realized how much I played RPGS when I was in middle school until this thread lol. Also, Squaresoft was the shit.
Squaresoft was the undisputed king of RPGs back in the day.

Also, I love all three games you listed.

I remember only buying Brave Fencer Musashi because it came with a playable demo of Final Fantasy 8. I had no intention to play the game itself, just the demo. I got bored one day, put the game in and have loved it ever since.

Call of Juarez on 360 (i think ps3 too) has a really good Western story, it's linear but playing it felt like a movie to me

HellblazerHawkman

Confused Thanagarian
Military shooter that handles tough situations instead of doing the FUCK YEAH AMERICA thing. Fantastic story, I could write an essay analyzing everything they did

Indigeau

The April Fool
I had to post here because I noticed Super Monkey Ball. Damn, that game was my jam. But huh, what qualifies as a game you probably haven't played? Not sure how safely I can say that, but it's whatever I guess. So here's a couple that popped into my head.

This game was a total campy, fun, hilarious blast. I love it to death and should probably get a new disc sometime soon seeing as how I broke the old one when I was younger.

Again, not sure how likely it is y'all have played it. But it's without a doubt one of my favorite games of all time (the only other games to rival it on my 'best games' list being Mother and Mother 3, the other two in the series). It's on the Wii U for ten American dollars, and free if you're a platinum Club Nintendoer, and if that isn't the deal of the century I have no idea what is. If you haven't, go play it, I beg of you.

Also, I'd recommend a free, in-browser flash game called Loneliness. I really can't say any more about it that that, it'd spoil it. Just go try it.
