Would you all see a Marvel fighting game like Injustice instead of how the old marvel fighting games are plus the Marvel vs Capcoms?

As long as I can play as Juggernaut and Omega Red, then hell yes!

And I totally agree with @Error , I think the X-Men franchise alone is enough to fill up a few sequels worth of fighting games.

What's wrong with the Vs series that you guys don't want to play it? It's not like there's no way to learn the games nor a scene for pretty much every one of them...

For these heroes:
- Avengers:
Spider-Man
Iron Man
Captain America
Hulk
Thor
Hawkeye
Black Widow
Wolverine & the X-Men
Daredevil
Doctor Strange
Punisher
Ghost Rider
Blade

Which villains from these would you have?

There's nothing wrong with them, it's just a different type of game. I'm not a huge fan just because they're so chaotic and 90% of success to just knowing how to use and defend against bullshit gimmicks (more-so than Injustice, I should say...). Something a bit slower paced like MK9 or Injustice would be much better suited to a Marvel game.

Apocalypse
Mystique
Sabretooth
Toad
White Queen
Sentinel (any)
Pyro

Is it even possible to name a fighting game where success comes from not using the best strategies or defending against the best strategies? That just seems like you don't like competing in fighting games.

That's the issue, though, is that these "strategies" are actual exploits of the system, things that are so difficult to defend against that you stand no chance if you don't know exactly how to handle them. Every fighting game's got a bit of that, but none more so than the Vs series. The issue is that it's actually not a matter of skill, at that point, but purely experience with the game, which raises the barrier of entry to an unacceptable level. At this point, it would be pretty much impossible for someone to pick up UMvC3 and expect to compete at a high level, which I would argue isn't the case with MK9 or Injustice.

There are other issues as well, which turn me off to the game. Again, the fast pace and chaotic nature make it very difficult for some players to keep up with veterans. That pace, combined with the long, extended touch-of-death combos make it even more difficult for new players to get into the game.

Again, I'm not saying that the Vs series are bad games, and I think they can be a lot of fun to play. I'm just not a fan, and think the more methodical pace of NRS games would better serve the Marvel franchise. NRS games have "weight", if that makes sense. When I shoot someone with Deathstroke or dropkick someone with Bane, I can feel the impact. In Marvel games, every hit is like a bee-sting, due to the quick, cartoony feel of the game.

I like the vs series, but being a casual who wants to get better at fighting games and not button mash, there's a big learning curve. It's hard to pick up a game and try to get better at it when everyone else already have years of experience. That, and it's so fast paced that even watching games without already having good amount of knowledge is hard to pick up stuff. At least for me.

For the roster how about:

I don't like the cartoon style and how random the game looks with lasers, missiles and 20 other characters coming out of the woodwork, with characters rising 10 levels above ground, cutscenes everywhere, and Capcom characters that I do not care for.

It's actually a lot easier to get better at a game that people have been playing for years because everything for the most part has been found out. In this age of information you can just go online and look up these kill combos and ridiculous resets and practice them putting your damage output on the same level as the most optimized players. And if you think that because everyhing is found the better player doesnt win 10 out of 10 times, you're wrong. With the exception of mvc1and 3 the vs series of games are all about space control and movement to get in or stay at your range. The point that its harder to keep up with veterans because the game is too fast only means that the game allows for growth to a top level. You cant just top level yourself in a few weeks. If you want to be good at something practice and get good. Dont expect the game to toss pats on the back and skill without time investments.

This x1000. The game is retardedly fast, and there is just way too much shit going on for it to even be enjoyable.

I personally don't care for Marvel. If it was developed well enough maybe.

Just realized there is also missing atleast one Fantastic Four Character.

Personally i dont like the one touch death combos in MvC3 i would really like a more "normal" Injustice/SF/MK style Marvel or DBZ game which is developed as a Tournament Fighter.
