So, Rob and I got to chill for a bit and practice a few things (Dan now has a Standing HK at close range into Ultra 2 for like 50% damage)... and then we went to Gamestop and got our actual day of release copies.

We need to set up something for the LI crew again in the near future.

Also, there is a Super SF4 tournament coming up at the Play n Trade in Plainview this Saturday, May 1. John(Sweet Johnny Cage) is running it and it will start around 3pm-ish.

Aure! Whatup dude. If your not doing anything this Sunday, Shock and I are running a UMK3 tournament at Road to Evo. Its in Queens near JFK airport so not to bad a ride for you.

it's time to start these up again boys...

if not once a week, then at least once every two weeks. With MK9 on the horizon, we're all close enough that we should get together for offline matches at least that often... I'm sure we'll be playing online, but still... gotta start with the offline stuff ASAP.

We can even stream our MK9 matches if we want to.

As long as we have like 3-4 people for UMK3, I'll definitely stream... Rob and I play a lot of H.Smoke mirrors and H.Smoke vs. Sonya, LOL... a stream of just the two of us would be boring to watch.

However, when MK9 drops...we'll have some kind of stream on as often as possible.

Rob is always busy on Wednesday and Friday nights... so those are out. Tuesday is a bad night for me... so Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays are usually good for me...

Awesome, their seems to be a decent amount of long islanders on this forum. If their is any casuals coming up, I would love to meet up with some of you guys. I'm pretty new at fighting games but I've been trying to learn as much as possible. Also I got a few TV's and other extra equipment if the need arises.

Awesome! We're always of the mindset, "the more, the merrier"... so in the coming weeks and months, we'll be getting together more and more.

I also want to point something out:

In the coming weeks... there will be no less than 3 MK tournaments on Long Island in the span of 14 days.

May 8th - Play n Trade in Franklin Square

May 14th - Gamer's Edge in Valley Stream

May 21st - Play n Trade in Smithtown(this was originally on the 14th but Bisonopolis is moving it so we can have 2 tournaments with bigger turnouts)

stoked!.. I love the fact there are a bunch of tourneys this month. I'll definitly be at the smithtown play n trade tourney, the last one was pretty fun and had a decent turn out. Hopefully I can make it to Gamer's Edge as well. Anyone else from here going to any of these tourneys? I look forward to being stomped on.. hahah :D
