I was thinking they can add the ability where you can use the throw button but after you press it you can use and ex throw where you can do a fake throw to throw off your opponent into the air similiar how you can hit your opponent with an overhead move but you can do this when your opponent least expect it or something.

That just sounds like a Sadira throw.
I was thinking about this b/c in MK9 I main Ermac and his throw is that he holds his opponent's head and throws him across the screen, there's was a second or half second delay on that throw and while I was throwing my opponent I was thinking I could cancel that with an ex throw and pop the opponent in the air then I can do my BnB's

There is an enhanced throw its used to reset your opponent during combos watch the vid where aris a reepal talk about it.

Honestly I'm not sure I like the idea of Enhanced throws. That's gonna give everyone the ability to reset/vortex and make EX wake up attacks less relevant. If everyone can reset off a throw for a bar of meter, then the best characters will automatically be the ones who have the best high/low game or grapplers.

The problem then comes when you're trying to balance the cast. To make low tier characters viable your only option will be to give them a better high/low game because that is the core of the meta and what decides who is good or not.

I don't want every character to be reset/vortex monsters. I want some to have very strong okizeme, and some to have great corner carry and devastating corner game. And others to have full screen projectile traps. etc.

True, but this will be an alternative to make a person who block and turtles into a corner, you can throw them and turn that throw into a combo and you can turn the game into your favor if you wish.

The high/low game and pressure strings in NRS games are enough. Having to worry about a throw that could launch you is too much.

I wasn't talking about your idea. I'm talking about what will officially be implemented in MKX.

About your idea, MK throw system is kinda whack. Even if you're good at teching throws you'll still get thrown 50% of the time because it's a guess. You shouldn't get a combo from a ground 50/50 throw.

All they have to do to make throws better is make them give you enough frame advantage to build meter or set something up. Zoners should throw you full screen and have enough frame advantage to chip you with a projectile as you get up. And rushdown/grappler characters should have enough frame advantage and be in good position to do some kind of oki setup.

The throw should reward you with an opportunity to mixup and do big damage/reverse or keep momentum. It shouldn't be a guaranteed comeback mechanic.
