I entirely disagree with you, TTT2 is very entertaining to watch, IMO.
No camping, almost all combos are big or cool looking, you can see any character at any tourney, and it's always fast paced. You also don't have to worry about people using the same combos and moves all the time, unlike in games like SF or MK/INJ, which I enjoy playing but not watching outside of maybe the EVO finals.
We may have to agree to disagree. Tekken is considerably less "Flashy" than most mainstream games, though I keep hearing from my scene that it is incredibly fun (By the way, they're not scrubs, and 2 of them made top 8 at UFGT; IDK what their other placements are but yeah, they're serious players.), but less enjoyable to watch unless you play the game already than most fighting games.
I also see a lot of people calling the game boring to watch, myself included, which is a shame for such a great game. I'm kind of hoping the next one is a bit "flashier" to attract a bigger following, again myself included.
That said, wow at ANYONE calling UMVC3 more diverse than just about any game whatsoever. The rule of UMVC3 is this:
You get a team of 3 characters, it must include at least 2 of the following:
-Zero
-Doom
-Vergil
Yes. What else do we have to actually care about from him?
Oh, so Joker is 8-2, please tell me which Jokers you've played? You know nothing about Joker if you think his teeth to pushblock turned this from 5-5 to 8-2.
I've discussed and played this matchup with Grr, we both agree 6-4 bane.
I only quoted these posts, but there's not a whole lot of information in this discussion you guys are having; it's mostly "nuh-uh you're wrong!"
Unfortunately I didn't get time to play Max at UFGT, and FK Jr didn't want to use Bane on me before pools when we played, so my experience against Bane is somewhat dated (Max Whooped my ass the first time I went to Chicago, but there was a considerable skill gap, and played a few other Banes at Civil War, my locals, Indiana tournaments, etc.), but here's my thoughts on the MU:
-Smart teeth placement can interrupt a lot of things, such as the command grab. It also stops you from just armoring through a hit at close range if teeth are near.
-D2>Flower breaks all armor if done at about the same time EXCEPT Venom Uppercut, since that one hits before the flower comes out.
-Holding gun out is safe if you have teeth anywhere in front of you and Bane is more than 1/3 screen from you (unless he goes to level 3 venom).
-Both characters can bully each other on knockdown, but Bane bullies Joker considerably harder than Joker bullies Bane. It can be really difficult for Joker to get off the ground once knocked down.
-Bane has to approach Joker. Depending on the stage, that can be hard to do with gun, flower, teeth and interactibles. Teeth should ALWAYS be on the ground.
-Pushblocking still helps us a lot despite the damage removal. We get to run out venom time, set ourselves up (With either interactible setups, corner carry or knockdown setups) and we get to put space between us, which is what Joker wants in this MU.
Doombawks, if you attend Summer Jam or TFC we should play.
