how balanced is INJ really?

i hear often how some say its the most balanced fighter ever made and there are mostly just 6-4s and 4-6s all across the system when things are not 5-5. as the time grows on and we all get better accustomed to INJ how do you feel the balance of INJ is really? do you think its the most balanced fighter you ever played or do you think it is said prematurely by some? for me when im playing superman against some chars who are used well like mmh and zod i think the game is not "balanced" for me personally after much time of struggling vs these same problems i dont see hope in the tunnel anymore and it is just doomed fate for my hero. i think INJ could be made very blanaced with one last patch but that is all my opinion.

It really depends on what people mean when they say balanced. A lot of people seems to see balance in the character variety. Because there seems to a relatively diverse cast occupying top 8s for this game, people like to think of the game as balanced. Not enough people play MMH to the level where people's doom and gloom about the character will really take hold. The argument is that because many of the characters can reach top 8 and such or that they have relatively low 7-3 or unwinnable matchups that game is balanced.
It's balanced enough. More balanced than "Mortal Kabal 9" or "Ultimate Vergil vs. Doctor Doom 3"
The 3 is especially funny now that you select 3 of the same character.

one of my favorite player to watch Tyrant said hes done with INJ because of grundy which is confusing because some say he can be top 10 with those 100% reset command grab set ups. is Tyrant just not so good like he was for mk9?

I mean, I guess it's "balanced" in the sense that you see a wider variety of characters in Top 8's (even that has more to do with the players themselves rather than the game), but as far as individual matchups go I don't see it being incredibly balanced at all.

Your question is hard to read. My answer to what I think you are asking, is that Tyrant is done with Injustice with more personal reasons. Grundy is great against people who do not know the matchups, more characters just have so many tools to either keep him out or negate his "reset". More and more options are being found to work against Grundy like simple backdashing or jumping at the right time. This just amplifies the incredibly amount of work it takes with the character. 100% resets are not enough to justify being a top character.

I'm so sick of Vergil, Doom, Zero, and Magneto that I'm actually pining to see Wesker again.

Who said it was the most balanced fighting game ever? I ask because I want to slap that person across the face through the Internet.

Yes, it's possible. I figured out how. Get at me.
I think people just hear it in commentary or certain posts where people declare how balanced injustice is because so so character can make it. Digit wins Texas Showdown with Shazam which does not prove he a goddam great player but that Injustice is balanced... I'm exaggerating my argument but the upplaying is real. :p Not that I'm complaining SHAZAM. But yeah balance is becoming a more and more nebulous term.

Never really kept up with Marvel but yeah its ridiculous how the game ended up. :( Shoutouts to Apologyman though, slightly better albeit just as frustrating.

I started play in injustice yesterday, its seems like hella unbalanced (u can stop reading here lol)... Because when i picked my firstday Bane with MM, nobody couldn't do shit against me (i mean players with good stats). Also i play in SF, Tekken, DOA and of course MK9, all they looks more balanced for me on this moment :/

Its not so much balanced as loaded with options to equalize the field in the form of really powerful interactables.

Most balanced fighter ever made hands down goes to Capcom vs SNK 2 and its groove system. Character not good with the meter system you have on them? Turns out they were tooled to use a completely different groove and playing a character with different meter systems (or grooves as they were called) also changed their strategies.

Game was a masterpiece of balance and their were something lik 8 grooves to choose from meaning EVERYONE had a setup to make them solid. Runner up to that game? Not Injustice...likely King of Fighters XIII. Its Cancel system and HD gauge setup is masterfully done and while there is a top tier the gap between top and bottom is veeeery small compared to other games making the whole cast viable...just not often as attractive to play as other cast.

Injustice is diverse in its top 8 but its not really balanced so much as it isn't complicated and stages lend every character crazy damage. Hell MB B3 is a solid hit from any character and as much as people claim "well yeah but you give up your corner advantage which is more valuable" they are crazy because we see it all the time...generally followed up by that same player using the midscreen interactibles immediately after the transition.

Injustice has a ton of inbalance, but it has a ton of universal equalizers to mitigate the gap in the matchups making it a bit more level. Its fun, but honestly it didn't risk a lot. There isn't a ton of mobility to complicate its footsie game so it doesn't get as deep as some other titles even though its really fun to play and watch. Simple, but good and it has its own sort of balance...most balanced though? Not a chance.

only reason people think Injustice is balanced is because MK9 was their only other fighting game
MK9 was the first fighting game I got good at, more or less played (aside from mk2, and sf2 on SEGA) and played competitively in. I for one have always thought of adapting with skill rather than crying for nerfs and buffs. Even tho I know it's needed. I know you mean generally, but if you can't adapt then no character will help you with the struggle.

UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Yeah I could probably argue with you on the balance of CVS2. That game just turned into characters who had invincible roll cancel moves and a giant turtle fest because you were either going to die from a-groove combos or get beat out by roll cancel headbutt/electricity/sagat's crouching fierce/sakura standing roundhouse. K-Groove was another big issue where you just played characters with rediculous limbs (Sagat,Cammy, whoever) and played lame with just defense and sit on your retardedly damaging super. The game is awesome but I wouldn't say it is very balanced...

Honestly Injustice isn't that bad in terms of balance. There are a solid 10-15 characters that could do well at a tournament and the best character in the game only see consistent results from 1 player. Yeah Aquaman and Bane are stupid but they are easily beatable. If you think they are bullshit go cry and quit the game no one will miss you.
