I've never really understood why D2's scale as much as they do in this game. Did it make more sense in Mk? I mean...in street fighter it seems like some of the best damage you can get is from antiairs and that seems by design to stress the importance of being smart about when and where you jump. Now I grant you that some characters would be even more ridiculous if they didn't nerf them to compensate (EDIT: Lol, I meant Aquaman....but Bane would probably be even more insane, lol), but given how hard it is to land a D2 with some castmembers in this game I don't see why they shouldn't get big damage off it.
