The BILL BOARD

Everyone will play Lobo after 1.06, because he's cool and actually really good. Everyone said this when his patch notes were released. There are, like, 2-3 people that dare to use him at tournaments.

Hook Charge wake-up buff, I swear this thing went from having no invincibility to having very little invincibility.

Lobo having full-screen 50/50's when Low Hook is around 26 frames and has longer reach than the first hit of Hook Charge.

If you mash buttons you'll get hit by slide. If you block low, you risk getting hit by the overhead hit of 113. I didn't say it was a good mixup, I said it was a mixup; meaning it's not impossible to open up someone as BM.

There's also b2~slide and ji2 which I mentioned as well.

His mixup potential is still a bill though.
If you actually block the first 11 and get hit by the 3 (the overhead), the subsequent b3 won't connect (it's weird because the opponent will bounce lower). The most you can get after that is a slide. Though I'm not sure if you can dash forward and 123 for a full combo (I think not). It's not that good, and not really worth discussing when talking about opening people up.

Why do so many people not understand what bill of goods means? Its something that was supposedly good but actually sucks, NOT a statement that was supposedly true but is actually false. "Aquaman is mid tier" is just plain wrong, because he's better than mid tier. That can't be a bill. And things that are obviously shit like Joker, living in Ethiopia, or swimming in piss, can't be bills because no one ever said they were good.

Language, people! Read the OP.
Being sold a bill of goods means that something sold you on a premise that didn't hold up to be what you actually got. So people being told the Joker had all this dirt and wasn't significantly buffed because people just hadn't figured him out yet, is kind of a bill. His 'balance' patch was probably a bill, lol

I disagree, Joker definitely has dirt.

His trait is a PCH's sweepstakes size bill.

"Sinestro is top 5"

The biggest bill that i've ever been sold. And for those of you laughing at Lex being better than Sinestro, think about this: Lex goes even with or beats almost all of the top 5. Sinestro loses to all of them except one.

so is the argument then that because sinestro bodies more characters he's better vs Lex being better for having more tourney viability against the top guys?

Basically. People rage about Sinestro "bodying 80% of the cast" when in reality he only beats shitter characters. Who is a Sinestro player more likely to face in tournament, a Lex or an Aquaman? Bodying crap characters means nothing when you lose to a majority of the top tier.

If I could like these posts 1,000 times, I would.

Sinestro: King of the shitter dominators

I think Lex is a great running mate with Sinestro if you can put the time into both characters.
