Question What will happen to Doomsday?

What do you guys think will happen to doomsday when people consistently start blocking earth shaker? Since it one of his main tools.

he'll do d1 throw instead.tbh though I think earthshaker will always be a decent tool. Btw macro ggs yesterday,very nice nw.

He'll continue to be Doomsday. He's gonna open you up with Sweep, Throw or Raw Earth Shake. Earth Shake was designed to be hard to block. So it's just tough to consistently block ES and to not get knocked down by Doomsday.

He can mix it up between throw, D1 throw, raw Earthshaker, D1 Earthshaker, D2 Earthshaker, and D3. Combined with MB Venom being plus, pushing you half screen and having a huge hitbox, he will be viable throughout the games lifespan imo. Not to mention he has trait to go through zoning and he has the easy corpse-hop tech to screw with wakeups in the corner.

This character is underrated. Everything posted above by the Doomsday mains is spot on.

Everytime I get games with a good DD player online,it's 5 games then they peace out. This might be partly responsible for my DD hate.

i mean this is a pure fuzzy guard move that you have to anticipate......

so it'll just add another level of the mind game he can create with anything off d1. especially if someone blocks it like... 3 times in a row.... that is a free 2,2 string or a body splash.... etc etc.

Good DD players mix you up with raw ES, d1~ES, d3, throw, body splash etc. It's nerve-wracking when he has you in the corner and you're at the mercy of his 1-frame ES and stuff, very difficult to block correctly.

This!! I freaking hate that man, same with every DD player I've fought too. It sucks cuz I don't get better at the matchup. As soon as I start to block ES and some mix ups and win a few games they leave. Just like you said, usually about 5 games 10 tops.

Not a damn thing. Yes, it's one of his best tools, but it doesn't cause him to break if people can block it. It just opens up more things for us to do to keep them guessing.

Besides, you can always delay it.

Also, if they block it, we get ridiculous meter from it. Which means what? More MB Venom. So, go for it.

@RIF and @RedTide00 Add me on whatever console you play on if you're not PC players. I don't do that stupid shit like other Doomsday players.

I don't mind people who can block Earth Shake at all. I prefer it, actually. It gives me more to do and lets me show people that there are other ways to make you hate him.

I'm no pro, mind you. But I'm fairly decent.

Ya i was just thinking about the meter and the chip also.:confused:
