I'm not trying to come down on you, but the ender is not breakable because I never went opener to ender. I'm not saying it's OP (landing a jumping heavy kick with Sadira is not hard to do btw and you don't have to be already in instinct to start those combos), I just said she her instinct give her access to unbreakable combos, as well as the other stuff I listed. Just want to clear up that so I'm not misinforming people or seem paranoid :p
If you are going to post videos and backup your claims, you are not misinforming. There is no hostility here.

I still plan on going over those when I get home, just to verify.

The ending should be breakable because the shadow widows bite is now considered an opener.

I am at work, but I will look at them when I get home. But I am almost positive that you can shadow break the blade demon at the end of the second combo as well as the auto double that you do after it, or a manual on a blind guess. Anything after that shadow widows bite becomes breakable.

Man i know how to fight against her lol I beat Draman and KDD consistently, I pointed out the things that make her instinct much better than the others, own up to the fact that her shit is amazing and move on. One knockdown may or may not get you the advantage and that goes for everyone really.

Of course I know how to exploit her bad wake ups or I'd never win against high level players lol, the point of this thread is not her wake ups but her instinct being infinitely better than the rest of the cast for reasons and videos shown. I don't care if they'll nerf her or not I'll still play the game and deal with it.

It's all good dude. Let me try to shed some light for you...
Check the vid again and see I never go shadow widow's bite into ender. The first combo uses a shadow linker (shadow blade spin) before the ender, that's the only part that is breakable (the shadow blade demon).
The 2nd combo uses a light autodouble (or manual) before ender, that is the only part of the combo that is breakable.
There are a dozen way to end that combo only giving sadira's opponent one chance to break. So if you guess, you got a 1 in 3 shot (well, if the timing on breaking linker, manual, autodouble, or shadow linker were the same). I'm guessing its about 50%ish damage with one bar.

she has to be nerfed in all honesty ... in the long run, and just wait for the majors, she will dominate all the cast making the roster unbalanced.
with her webs, she gets in for free, everything is made safe, combos are unbreakable, and even regular combos can be easily fished for counter breakers in instinct mode so there is nothing you can do if she is on you and activates instinct beside some really risky shadow moves to go through her web and if she blocks your fucked anyway.
her pokes are all safe, just mash out cr lp and see if opponent can get near you, jump all day build meter and wait for instinct.
if you do well against her in one round, next round she takes it with her instinct, almost surely gets two instinct bars every game if you are giving her a run for her money but you lose at the end ofcourse...

SHE NEEDS TO BE NERFED, agree or disagree but to balance out the game something has to be done with her endless safe options while in instinct and the crazy unscaled damage she gets out of one combo while using webs...

fuck this shit, its completely OP ... DH really fucked up with this character. so unless season two brings some TRUE counter picks for Sadira unlike Fulgore who doesn't do all that well (given that DH were saying it was a counter character to 'spiders') then the balance of the game is questionable ...

no Sadira player every admits this OP shit, they just dance around the subject or jump over it ;)

telling you folks, she is truly OP...
 
Her webs have been nerfed, they can now be shadow countered and a lot of specials bust right through it. Fulgore's blade charge, Jago's wind kick, etc. I'd imagine for Glacius that cold shoulder would be your best bet here.

Rather than posting here, you would have been better suited to checking your post in the Fulgore discussion, where Vagrant has replied to you pointing out Fulgore's benefits against Sadira.

btw, we did play last week by GT is BoPLoog, was quite laggy tho - ggs :)
 
I just spent $700 for this game and you're telling me there's a broken character!?
I thought it was the most balanced game out there :(.
I guess I'll get used to the struggle.

I totally agree with everything you mentioned, this character is stupid, she can spam her air webs all day without any way to punish it (except thunders samamish).

I use jago, and i really find it hard to fight Sadira.

When I face any other character and he or she wins I don't have any problem with that, because I know that the player earned his win, but when I face Sadira, and she wins, I get really salty because of the amounts of the jump spams and the stupidly good normals that she used to win with, especially the crouching LP that you mentioned.

I think the only players who don't want her to get nerfed and say that she is balanced are the ones who main her.

She needs to get nerfed IMO.

I'm not sure when it happened but there were no notes about it, there haven't been for many recent changes (for example, Shadow Recluse is now upper body invulnerable).

And yeah I recognised you, ggs dude :)

Sadira is fine, you just have to do your research and pay attention to positioning.

If your character has an uppercut all of the webshot jump ins become gimmicks. If she throws a MP or HP webshot, block it and uppercut. It's 100% guaranteed, so she can't even use those. Thunder's goes right through them regardless. Characters without uppercuts should be looking to air-to-air her, but idk how Spinal would do it you'd have to ask a Spinal main.

Once you shut down MP and HP webshots she has to start mixing it up with raw jump ins or doing LP webshot into something on the ground, all of which have answers. I mean at worst you do an early uppercut expecting a raw jump in that runs into a webshot and you get knocked down. If she's jumping all over your face with HK's and webshots it's because you're letting her.

Once she gets knocked down it's your turn to go ham, she has NO INVINCIBLE MOVES AT ALL. She has to either sit there and take all your pressure or risk a back dash.

She used to only be able to wake up instinct to get away from stuff but after the recent nerf she can't even do that anymore. If you jump in with an attack that has a decent hitbox & active frames it will actually break the wake up web; it no longer catches you so she STILL has to sit there and block.

The unbreakable instinct damage is a little wack but it's not OP. If Thunder lands 2 Shadow Command Grabs in a match that's about as much unbreakable damage as Sadira does with 1 instinct. It's not quite as much but it's close.
