Go back to gen 1 then you scrub.
Psychic is my favorite too, and it's a great typing. It's just not the most useful for the meta atm. A very common trait about the psychic types is that the generally have very vast move pools. Alakazam is a perfect example, I would use Mew but he can literally learn anything because he is Mew. Alakazam has access to moves that cover all his weaknesses and can hit just about anything with SE damage. That's always been one of the big advantages to having Psychics around, they alway provide great coverage.
