meter increases for 4 reasons.
1. Taking damage
2. Chipping with specials
3. Doing damage
4. Performing specials

So... the chip in MB TR is so much he gives him the bar back, almost

This isn't really true. He has more mix ups than characters like Superman or Black Adam, and I'd even argue he might have better mix ups than some characters like Zod or Ares that are supposed to be somewhat mix up based. He doesn't have a strong, safe 50/50 game like Killer Frost or Batgirl or even Catwoman, but he really shouldn't have that anyway because he's got good footsies and strong defensive tools. And j3's a great cross up. Have you seen Theo lately? He goes for ambiguous j3 set ups constantly.

I agree about his corner game though. It's pretty strait forward and lacking in the kind of shenanigans that most characters have in the corner in this game. Honestly he might be pretty non-threatening in the corner if you took away Trident Rush.

Maybe because I play AM I understand when the J3 will crossover and when it wont. I dont have a tough time blocking it. IDK, whatever...wubalubadubdub.

Well a little off topic, but Sinestro can do a Johnny Cage. Meaning you can burn all 4 bars on MB fear blast and if blocked you get a 5th bar for free.

It sucks but as someone pointed it out, in this game your specials build an enormous amount of meter on block, much more than on hit. This is not limited to just aquaman.

My guess is NRS wanted to make Injustice an even more offensive based game that only inflicting chip damage was not enough.

Although, this IS my first NRS game so this might not even be a new feature.
