she can troll you on knockdown and thats cool but that alone doesnt make a character good, all these semi invincible wakeups dont help either, her b3 is evaise but negative on block lol and doesnt she have a lot of lopsided matchups? im not saying shes complete trash but dont see how shes good or among the upper mid's

Her b3 is equally negative on block as Killer Frost's slide but it doesn't have 0 priority and never does anyone say 'ow slide is negative' like it's a massive con which it is but they still don't say it. Killer Frost has lopsided match-ups or is her against mid-tier characters like Nightwing and Green Arrow advantage her when they out footsie her which means she can only open them up with slide which hits no one or a parry/mb f3 and then the list goes on to characters that dominate the air or 'post-slide game' because they have fast low pokes.

If anyone hasn't noticed, the reason this list is divided up into way too many tiers is to conceal the Myles-Wright levels of GL downplaying.

He can't combine the B+ tier with the top tier, or he'll have to admit GL is on the same level as characters like Batman and Aquaman. Hell, there's even an extra obviously-uneccesary A-tier with only one character in-between to pad it out further.

He can't combine the B+ tier with the B tier, or the downplaying would become too painfully obvious as GL would be in the same tier as Lex Luthor.

parryable turbine charge
great range on d2 to knock him out of IA turbine charge
6-4 or 5.5-4.5 kf advantage.

I only notice his presence because every thread he's in becomes 90% posts that are just feeding his trolling.

It's kinda funny- like watching a trailer for Paranormal Activity where the ghost is throwing furniture all around the room. You can't see what's doing it, but you see the ensuing chaos.

I don't see how this is 6-4. No one uses turbine ever and there's no reason to use it because you out zone KF pretty easily. Jump back oa rockets and minigun are both very good. I also think GL has a good post slide guessing game. I think it's really even if she couldn't party b13 it would be 6-4 GL IMO. Maybe I just haven't played good frosts idk

What other communities do is they compile a Tier list based on Matchup Numbers, and whoever has the highest numbers is on top, and the lowest on the bottom. Obviously there are things to take into consideration, like how does a character do in a matchup you've NEVER seen before, or what if a character does really well against every character that isn't top 5?

But still, it would be the most logical and agreeable tier list we could make.

Obviously getting every top representative of a character in a room together to sit down and agree on a list would be nigh impossible :/

If that's what we did batgirl wouldn't be top 5... we can't have that now can we?

If that's the case then you're ok with ranking Raven on the same level as MMH and Bane on the same level as NW? That's what happens when we condense tiers to 3 levels. The fact that players are good with comparatively bad characters means nothing to tiers.

No, it means the players are good lol. If I win a tournament with Joker, he doesn't magically become a better character, you just got outplayed. The fact that low tiers are somewhat viable in this game is a testament to the balance this game has.

But that doesn't change the fact that the low tiers have a significant number of bad MUs and that they are comparatively much worse than the top tiers.

I don't play Martian but I know his frame data, what is punishable, strats/combos/setups etc.

You don't need to main the character to know how they work, nor how they fare against any of the characters you use.

You're assuming that both players playing are of equal skill level and know the MU at the highest possible level. That's almost never the case in reality.
