I was trolling with that "set in stone" comment. Also Hawkgirl and Lex are pretty broken, just not OP. Shazam is a solid pick. He doesn't have anything really broken, but also doesn't have to work as hard as the chars in the "Deadly in the right hands" tier.

As a former cyborg main i can honestly say hes trash all he has is zoning which is not that great once your opponent is patient and reacts to it ...

What other communities do is they compile a Tier list based on Matchup Numbers, and whoever has the highest numbers is on top, and the lowest on the bottom. Obviously there are things to take into consideration, like how does a character do in a matchup you've NEVER seen before, or what if a character does really well against every character that isn't top 5?

But still, it would be the most logical and agreeable tier list we could make.

Obviously getting every top representative of a character in a room together to sit down and agree on a list would be nigh impossible :/

1- Too many tiers.
2- The Joker players themselves say he's good enough yet everyone puts him at the bottom by proxy.
3- Nightwing isn't that good but he's certainly higher than C tier.
4- Killer frost has only one losing match-up according to the KF community I think? That certainly is better than B+
5- You say "i think anyone upper mid tier or higher is viable maybe even some of the lower mids" but let's see the C tier: Nightwing got 9th at FR, Catwoman 2nd, Ares made top 8, Shazam won a tourney, Chris G places rather well with Green Arrow.

This community is so tier list horny. So why don't we, the community, agree on a official one? Or is it too early still?

Well it doesn't really matter anyways.

She has a 50/50 and tons of knockdown set-ups. j2, f1 frame traps where she's actually plus. Evasive b3 etc just because she may get bodied by Aquaman does not mean she doesn't hold her own against a large number of the other characters in the game

she can troll you on knockdown and thats cool but that alone doesnt make a character good, all these semi invincible wakeups dont help either, her b3 is evaise but negative on block lol and doesnt she have a lot of lopsided matchups? im not saying shes complete trash but dont see how shes good or among the upper mid's

The thing with Cyborg is
He's only really good at Zoning so has reallllyy bad matchups but also wins or goes even but some matchup are like 2-8. For example he beats GL because he can just zone the duck out of him but cyborg vs Aquaman is like 2-8

I like how Shazam has just won a tourney and some people use that as a way to boost the character. Which I like, people can... upplay(?) Shazam/Captain Marvel all they want. But the most he seems to move is from "D" tier to "C" tier with lists that use that format. I am not here to insult your list or anyone's for that matter, I just found it funny. Shazam/Captain Marvel all the way, lower tier hero for life :p.

I do honestly think Cyborg could be the worst in the game, but the thing is 'being the worst' doesn't mean much in a balanced game. That is why it could seem like he is around the 15th spot with a bunch of other characters.

His design is just blah. Really the only way he wins is by chip damage and throws. It is rough in a game dominated by 50-50 resets into 40-50% damage and where everyone seemingly has good counter-zoning or a teleport, or a parry/evade.

Cyborg has no mix-up and no way to open up his opponent (not that his damage is great w/o meter or B3). Thus the best thing to do with his + frames is to run away (unless you are near the corner). Did you know that almost all his strings are full combo interruptible? J2,1,(here)2, b2 ; 11(here)2; d1(here)SD ; f22 and b1 are not true mids with poor range and 90% of his string can be avoided or made to wiff by walking back since the range is so poor.

Also his groundfireball is -20ish, but people get confused since his iafb is +2 and it can be hard to differentiate them at first. Missiles are a gimmick since they have slow startup and literally point to where they will go. Their splash hitbox is also surprisingly small if more people would lab it and find that they can easily avoid them. All his zoning can be avoided on reaction with practice thus effectively taking 0% damage and very minimal chip. It is just patience and experience people lack.

He is fun as hell, but only in certain MUs (Batman, Superman, NW, Grundy, GL, Lex, Black Adam) others are not too bad, he has a lot of 4-6s. But is his amount of potential 3-7s that really make him a true in the blue fish.

IMO Zod, MMH, WW, BG are some of the uncontested best in the game. They are amazing lol

This sucks too because he was the character I wanted to play when the game launched! Why even play Cyborg when you can play Zod.
Correct me if I'm wrong; but doesn't Zod beat those characters you listed that Cyborg beats plus more?
