About the actual movie... shit looks awful. I always had bad feelings about this thing and this trailer just went and confirmed my suspicions. Megan Fox is terrible in the seconds we saw of her in this trailer alone.

They should have used the Japanese guy from The Wolverine you know the guy who tried to kill Wolverine while he was getting his power back on the table. He should have been cast a The Shredder

If you actually think that you don't know shit about last samurai. Ken watanabe is the last samurai not Tom fucking cruise. So fucking irritating that a movie that's so good is continually shit on by people who idea what the fuck it's actually about. White washing is what the bullshit avatars movie did, not remotely close to what last samurai did.

Regardless of who the Last Samurai actually was, the issue I'm complaining about is still valid with a nerdy white guy playing Shredder. And I'm totally allowed to be annoyed that the hero of a movie called the Last Samurai is Tom Cruise. The poster alone says it all:

It's called marketing. Tom Cruise was BY FAR the biggest star involved, of course he's going to be front and center. Again, it's apples and oranges. Shredder is supposed to be a Japanese martial arts master not a white business man, it's white washing. In Last Samurai not only is Tom Cruise not "the last samurai" he does practically all the learning. He isn't the civilized white man who helps the savages overcome themselves. HE'S THE SAVAGE, they help him overcome his demons, and what they learn from him winds up not helping them "win" in the long run any way. He DOESN'T save the day.

Seriously making comparisons to The Last Samurai is the height of ignorance and would only be made by people who have never seen the movie.

I'm looking forward to it, so many people on the comic sites crying over "omg they look huge, or only a Bay movie can a turtle damage a car lol"

I look forward to it, I just want two things, well three more things. A. Raphael!! B. Splinter and C. Casey Jones :)

I grew up on TMNT and I was super excited about this movie until I watched the teaser. It simply didn't do "it" for me. :(

I'm actually surprised at how hyped I am to see this now.

I think anyone that actually grew up with them and is the age us old guys are are phyc'd up a bit.

Sure the original will always have a place in my heart, but I'm ready to see them kick some ass.

I think they look great.

The toys on the other hand somehow look like shit.

I saw one forum some dude said something about them teaming with the power rangers was cooler then this trailer. To that dude I say, get the fuck outta here man.

The only thing I'm dissapointed in is Megan Fox as April ( but I've had a long time to come to terms with it), hopefully they kept her actually dialog to a minimum, like the trailer lol.

Yeah I think some people are stuck in the past, it's not 1990 or the 80's...it's 2014. People need to deal with some of the modern updates.

Fox isn't the best actress but I'd rather have that probably over the white shredder, but then this is nothing new altering the background of a character. Look at marvel making human torch black in the new FF coming? WTF?! lol

So it's not just Bay who's changing things in his vision. Just saying....
