Psst, come closer, I wanna tell you something but I don't want others to hear:
I am having trouble with the MB version as well.
My execution is THAT bad.

Nah for real though, the problem is when I go to the lab and I try some combo, if I get it wrong the first few times it gets stuck in my muscle memory and so the next 20 - 30 times are the exact wrong execution. I have to take a break clear my muscle memory then try again.

@FOREVER EL1TE yea I really dont do good against staff pressure. Anyone who plays me will see Im quick to push block lol. The reason I do staff 1 GP is cause since you are a NW player I thought you would back dash to get out of pressure so I would do MB pound to catch it lol

I dont really know the zod matchup but remember if you block his charge thing punish with 113.

For Grundy, abuse unthrowable stand 2 in staff, and jump back 1 a lot. Stand 1 for footsies, and lots of ground blast/mb staff spin to keep him out.

Batgirl: This MU is strange, try and bait teleport a lot with ground spark dash cancels/d1 in staff if he jumps from full screen. Be patient and expect the wakeup, and watch for the b2d3, cause he will do it a lot in the corner into the high cartwheel.

The MU thread has good info on Zod. I like to end my combos in staff spin, dash once and jump over. I'll either empty jump and punish a palm or wing ding to punish charge.

Spark a lot to build meter but try not to take damage from it. Get Zod to the corner and keep him there.

Against bat girl, occupy the space that is your g spot. Lol. And bait teleports with d1 feints and empty jumps and ground spark cancels.

I use f2 in escrina. Staff is harder but standing 1 works. Back dash gets him out free so I tend to go for crossup tech like I said.

Pig is my offline training partner so have fun. Stay in escrima too so you have a chance to avoid interactables. Flip kick mb pressure is your friend and momentum builder

whats funny is that if you end your combos in staff spin cancel in escrima stance, you can follow up with a dash in and cancel into staff > staff spin.
It either trades or stuff Zod's wake up thats + on block. I wouldn't rely on it though, just found it interesting in practice.

so I went 2-2 in the PS3 tourney last night. My only stream matched was against Sonic Fox where I was dropping everything. It was fun though.

I went 3-0 against a Zod and won all matches decisive
I went 3-0 against a GL(what use to be one of my hardest match ups until Sajam showed me the path) AK Xenomorph, I totally outzoned GL and avoided all missiles to my best ability.
then my time ended with a loss to Catwoman.

pretty fun for my first tourney, Im gonna be at next level this weds because I'm tired of PSN and I just want to play games offline for fun, I'm trying to keep my interest in this game high because a lot of the things in this game lack logic and award a lot of BS(salt). I'll also be at the House of Crack on Monday so I will try to attend those two local events consistently and represent Dick offline in the NYC area.

That shit had the likes of Saltface, Sonic Fox, Mr Mileena and honestly everyone there was good. Yea offline tourneys are always better, but the competition was no joke.
