Can you expand on this? I'm not quite understanding the link between stages and # of games.
Sure, because stages are random, it could be worse for a certain player to play more games then less depending on who they use and what stage they get.
Or, a player who is considered top, could be up 2-1 in the set, and then get f'd the next 2 matches by bad stages and lose 3-2.
Now this is not to say the player that wins doesn't deserve to win, because of the way the game is though, with the stages being such a big factor, you will see more "Upsets" then you do in other games. And I don't think changing from 2/3 to 3/5 will change that.
