Uhmmm kind of. There's a lot of things in the game that are really big connectors to the first game. The ending is interesting though.

Well I know what you're getting at entirely I don't wanna say anything just incase I ruin something for someone, BUT you're right about the ending of Dks1 thing, considering the fires are still linked, which makes it seem like that was the real ending.

True. BUT it isn't stated how quickly the flame is fading or how long it had until the age of man begins. Gwyn gave his soul to the first flame back in the time of Oolacile and before the events occurring there. The flame was fading all that time, whose to say how long it would of taken for the flame to fade? (I'm not arguing right or wrong with you, I'm giving my perspective on it)

What type of sword are you looking for? I actually have the CE guide, so I can find you any weapon youd like.

An Uchi or something strong early on crescent falchion style. I'm doing pitiful damage and relying solely on phantoms or kiting for 5 mins.

The uchi you can get from the blacksmith Mcduff in Lost Bastille after getting the ember to him. There's another one called Manslayer but you can only get it much later in the game. Early on tbh, I think a lot of people are using the weapon you can get right after beating The Pursuer. I don't remember the name of it right now.

I never really played the first one till recently and only then to help my gf with certain bosses she was having trouble with but I enjoyed what I played of it. Is the second one worth picking up, what's your first impressions? If so what would be a nice simple build for a relatively new player, the magic looks awesome but I'm thinking that may be more involved...

? I've only done 1 in about 9 hours of playing. I'm lvl 61 or near that with about 1,6k HP, I made sure to get the base 40 like always, I like the tankyness.

Fuck I should have ordered the vanilla edition earlier and not wait until tuesday for the black armour ed. I ordered the vanilla edition anyway. I don't have school on fridays and now it's 01:45 AM saturday here. I have a fuckton of assignments due and I have to prepare for some exams during and after next week. I would have had time to play this weekend, but next week, nah too much bs. Funny thing is I get mail during weekends as well, but I am pretty certain I won't get the game until next week, had this happen to me before with pre-orders. Life is sooooo tough . Well at least my sleeping rhytm is already fucked so I can watch Final Round.
