If you can find a Ps2 Controller before hand you can use that and i would give you a converter to use. Ps2 Controller is close to Ps3. There are some differences. Its up to you though.

I have plenty of ps2 controllers... Eh, bring it just in case if its not too much trouble. I might not need it, but better to prepare than not right?

No problem. I was going to bring it just in case if the other converter said fuck you im not going to work. -_-. I always bring two converters just in case.
