Equally ridiculous was making "top 5 players" lists so early in the game. Even funnier was the fact that 2 days ago, nobody would have had KDZ in their top 5. EVO champ + 2 majors... think he's done enough to warrant such placing now?

This goes to show you what EVO means. When you win EVO...YOU ARE FUCKING GOOD. Shocking, I know. Your character can get nerfed, you can get get bodied for a while, but ultimately the best players find a way, and if you win EVO (a tournament with all the competition from across country), you're among the best. Hopefully we've learned our lessons not to doubt those who manage to achieve such great feats.

In fairness, KDZ hasn't been inactive. He just hasn't been having good results. But yes, your point stands, and I'll expand to "People shouldn't throw players out of the window due to a few disappointing results" as long as said players have proven how great they are in the past (ie Tom, KDZ, 16 Bit, Pig or anyone else who had been struggling for a while before righting the ship).
