Also really? You're going to compare collector's items to fight sticks? Somehow that's even more ridiculous.

The point I have been making since coming into this thread is that KI seems like a great game but is doomed to fail due to the terrible marketing decisions Microsoft/DH made when selling it. That point still stands, and is very much backed by data.



Also why are you hating on Injustice so hard? You're the one who brought it up in the first place and have since then been attacking it in pretty much every post with outdated concerns.

I think what impresses me about KI is that their dev staff is actually really good at the game and understands how the mechanics apply at a high level. So while there isn't a whole lot of content the content that is released is usually pretty well polished and tested. The game might have been rushed due to Microsofts influence or what have you but I much rather have a game lacking content that's well polished and tested than have a game that has a ton of untested broken content.

Honestly if you bought an Xbox1 and expected to get better value for your $ than you will later in the consoles lifespan then you're an imbecile. It's almost always the case that you will get more value for your money after the maturation of a technology. This is applicable for more than just consoles, early adopters of smart phones paid a whole lot more and got a whole lot less than you do now for the same cost.

Early adoption is best suited for those with a decent amount of disposable income who are truly interested in the technology, but the risks are almost always obvious. And in this day in age with youtube and the massive amount of reviews that are published, it's ridiculous to have not made an informed decision. Pig you strike me as a fairly intelligent guy, as such it surprises me as to how butthurt you seem to be about this.

You can combo breaker his shatter move, which is not a projectile by the way. But trying that from a distance is suicide, he gets a free counterbreaker. It is unbreakable but it has crazy recovery frames, can be jumped on reaction, and some characters get a free punish/shadow punish. The "Zoning" in this game is traditional and requires thought process and calculation. It's a means to force mistakes and condition opponents. Glacius is more of a setup/trap character. His Hail (the little icicle) is great for starting pressure , making moves safe, and for protecting yourself. I see alot of people think its a regular projectile to spam from full screen, it's far more than that. Thats what I like about this game, it has traditional fundamentals and mechanics all around, all the while it is unique at the same time because of it's crazy combo system that leads to intense mindgames.

I feel dumb lol, I forgot Shatter isn't a projectile though it is hilarious if you do successfully combo breaker from that far away. But I agree, the mind games are so good.

I think in the end everyone bashes everyone though its just some more common than others (depending on where you look), its still a bad thing obviously but its something that will sadly never go away.

Thats the problem in a nutshell. The community is divided and everything turns into an injustice vs killer instinct pissing contest. That in turn clouds judgement on both sides. They are two different animals and cannot be compared.

I know you didnt ask me but I agree with him.

More then anything it has to do with there only being six characters. After a while it gets boring seeing the same characters over and over, especially when most of the time it is Sabrewulf. That and watching a minute long combo gets old as well.

Note: I play the game at every tournament I go to and dont even own an Xbone. The game is super fun to play but for someone who just watches it can get stale really quickly.

Why is this a bad thing? In both Tekken and Soul Calibur matchups can change due to stages. Although some may not prefer it others like the additional depth it brings.

A game where every character also has free defensive options and armor to abuse said safe as hell moves

you have unblockables that do 20% from full screen.

If you get hit by an interactable from full screen then that is kind of on you. You can even backdash the car on Wayne Manor.

I dont think anyone said they wanted a 28 character roster. 6 is a bit low for almost any fighting game, the original MK had more than that.

Response in red. I like how you keep going back to the first few months of the game while ignoring how great Injustice has become, especially at majors. KI is cool and fun and a solid game, but I GUARANTEE you that over time people will find more complaints. Hell, we've already had like 2 or 3 Sadira is broken, Sabrewulf is OP, Nerf Glacius threads as it is.

I'm amazed at how good KI is, and it has nothing to do with nostalgia. Never played old KIs and never want to. I agree it's pretty dumb for people to have to pit games against eachother. Injustice is a really unique and great fighting game. I do however feel it lacks in the excitement/hype category, where KI blows every fighting... scratch that, game ever created out of the water. There I said it. I know it sucks its an xbox 3 exclusive. I think that's the main reason anyone hates on it.

The Old KI games are silly and definitely not meant for competitive play lol but they have a special place in my heart, I recommend them more for casual action. But as for the way KI3 is set up DOA5 did the same thing with the Core Fighters for the most part didn't they?
