Anyone know if OP is updated? Dont want to learn pre-patch combos.
The patch didn't change any of them. Only gave him a harder KD off of F2D3, Venom Uppercut MB on block or whiff, and less damage taken while on venom. You'll be gtg.

Does Bane have corner combos that don't involve bounce cancels?

What are Bane's bnb's with Background Bounces?

Yes. You can do stuff like b.23 b.1 b.1 b.1 223BP or honestly whatever you want in the corner.

Uh...

if theres no hanging interactable, it'd be like...

ending with j.2 123RT, j.2 b.112 BP, j.2 12VU...

If there is one, its usually...

j.d.3 113xxMB b.3 j.2 12--BGB j.3xxinteractable which usually gives about 100%

Get your guns on. Sheriff is back.
In the corner just remember not to pop your load too early. Your Oki in the corner is the sickest in the game. Lvl 3 venom and command grabs can be done enough to wipe a life bar easily once you down them in the corner because unless they have a multihitting armored wakeup you eat right through it and grab them to death.

What does "you can do whatever you want in the corner" mean? haha, I'm looking for specific buttons to press to do the most damage. I can figure oki and stuff out as I go, but if optimal combos exist those are good to know up front

This is true in general, not just in the corner, isn't it? Without venom you don't have much ability to generate an offense. I wouldn't generally go up a venom level just for damage unless it's going to kill them

You actually get more damage midscreen optimized than cornered.
The reason people say not to let Bane get you cornered isn't the damage, its the fact that Bane went from having to chase you to making you take every mix-up he has. Your optimal combos here are the basic BnB with set-ups. That's about it. Enjoy charging over everything ever.

If you want corner dirt, learn the timing to the DP BP set-up. Its madness.

Optimized midscreen I have videos of.

That's what I was trying ask, thanks.

Your YouTube channel is great, btw. I started going through it last week, haven't watched everything yet though

Much appreciated. I try.

b.23 b.23 12 are your BnB midscreen. Gives the most carry and damage, but the timing is strict.
You'll be doing either b.23 b.23 123 RT for the most meterless damage and a lot of carry
b.23 b.23 12BP for damage and advantage
b.23 b.23 12VU for venom optimization
b.23 b.23 12DP for maximum carry potential and advantage in trade for damage

Pretty much the "optimized" aren't giving you much more damage, but they give you by far the most carry to set up for corner pressure and they do boost your output by about 3 or 4% per.

The others all make a lot of sense, but I don't have any idea what venom optimization is

Edit: Actually I think I get it. It has to do with how quickly it does the damage, like in a scenario where you have level 3 venom up and it's running out

Exactly. Optimizes your up-time on venom allowing for more oki or that last bit of high damage.

What is the best/consistent follow-up to a D2. What is the best/consistent BNB off an air-to-air?

Honestly depends on the spacing. Let's say anti air d2. can typically go 123 ring toss or 12 venom upper for oki. adjustments have to be made for distance. For a d2 point blank hitting pretty much the same thing.

If you catch someone out of a high jump, b.3 that ass.
Otherwise, j.2 into the 123 standard, OR if you aren't confident in it, do a second d.2 into dash-up pressure since it'll make that d.2 a fast stand.
