https://twitter.com/AlexValleSF4/status/428304155401138176@CaliPower how are we doing currently with IGAU pre-reg?
Even after all the people who will enter but not pre-register? We have an entire month.looks like the 64 cap might have been a pretty accurate number
so 25+ people are going to enter last minute even though theyve known about it for months? and have known for weeks if they pre reg and cap is filled it will be raised? and now know pools are saturday. idk man seems like the number is fine, valle has done his part and more for the igau community with this tourney.Even after all the people who will enter but not pre-register? I don't disagree with you at all about Valle doing his part and more. He's met pretty much every request we've had when he really didn't have to do anything. Some people don't have their money straight and need to save up. Lots of people enter these tournaments last minute for multiple reasons, it would be a shame if people were rejected because of a pool size that ended up being full. I also don't see a month away being last minute IMO. Registration came out what, a month ago right? I know my two primary training partners are going but haven't pre-registered yet because of financial issues. They're going to, but they can't be the only people who are in the same situation.so 25+ people are going to enter last minute even though theyve known about it for months? and have known for weeks if they pre reg and cap is filled it will be raised? and now know pools are saturday. idk man seems like the number is fine, valle has done his part and more for the igau community with this tourney.
God I wish I lived that close lolGonna try to register tonight. Found a flight for 72 bucks. What hotel is everyone staying at? Id like to get lots of casuals in.

well its a month away today so no today wouldnt be last minute but waiting another 2+ weeks would be late and yes it would be unfortunateI don't disagree with you at all about Valle doing his part and more. it would be nice to see it get raised i think we all want it to be but everyone registering last minute probably wont do it...and I'm not saying "Valle, make the pool bigger now!" I'm just saying I have hope that we'll beat the cap and hopefully get it raised at that point. Until that happens, nobody can say anything.
I was just about to ask this same question -- how many people know they're going to go, bit haven't been able to register yet?So how many people know they're going but haven't registered yet?
Why rent a car? There's got to be another method of transportation to the hotel(I presume there's shuttles or something, and worse case scenario you can probably find another player to split a taxi with), and if you stay at the Atrium there's a shuttle between there and the venue.Fuck dude...Irvines an hour away from LAX? That means i have to rent a car and drive an hour. Im probly out..
John Wayne Airport is arguably walking distance from the venue. It's also literally across the street from all of the hotels.Fuck dude...Irvines an hour away from LAX? That means i have to rent a car and drive an hour. Im probly out..

That would cost me 300 more bucks or I would. Im looking at maybe a train ride there from LA? Is that safe to do down there? Says its just 18 bucksJohn Wayne Airport is arguably walking distance from the venue. It's also literally across the street from all of the hotels.
Fly there, not LAX.
Take metrolink train from LAX to Union Station, runs every 30 mins.Looking at a
