Even after all the people who will enter but not pre-register? We have an entire month.
so 25+ people are going to enter last minute even though theyve known about it for months? and have known for weeks if they pre reg and cap is filled it will be raised? and now know pools are saturday. idk man seems like the number is fine, valle has done his part and more for the igau community with this tourney.
I don't disagree with you at all about Valle doing his part and more. He's met pretty much every request we've had when he really didn't have to do anything. Some people don't have their money straight and need to save up. Lots of people enter these tournaments last minute for multiple reasons, it would be a shame if people were rejected because of a pool size that ended up being full. I also don't see a month away being last minute IMO. Registration came out what, a month ago right? I know my two primary training partners are going but haven't pre-registered yet because of financial issues. They're going to, but they can't be the only people who are in the same situation.

well its a month away today so no today wouldnt be last minute but waiting another 2+ weeks would be late and yes it would be unfortunate

I was just about to ask this same question -- how many people know they're going to go, bit haven't been able to register yet?
Why rent a car? There's got to be another method of transportation to the hotel(I presume there's shuttles or something, and worse case scenario you can probably find another player to split a taxi with), and if you stay at the Atrium there's a shuttle between there and the venue.
John Wayne Airport is arguably walking distance from the venue. It's also literally across the street from all of the hotels.

Take metrolink train from LAX to Union Station, runs every 30 mins.
