It's IMO the best song on the new nin album that overall was a letdown

My personal fav NIN song is "we're in this together" probably because it contains one of my fav guitar solos of all time. Not because it's some extremely technically hard solo that shreds but because it is completely unrecreatable

It can't be recreated

Many have tried but the way they wired guitar into an envelope and then into a wah into another wah and had two people control it the notes are not very distinguishable yet it's perfectly in tune and emits pure raw emotion of the theme of the song

He was raised by his grandmother from age 2 so he looked at her as his mother and the album from track 1-23 (minus the track called starfuckers ) is about him dealing w the slow death of his grandmother and being able to do nothing about it that sent him through a world of depression and anger and the cd really is a dedication to her

I am an old school NIN fan. Every time I go out to the routine gay clubs I request "Closer" and "The hand that feeds" to be played back to back. So. Fucking. Hype.
