Yeah I was quite impressed with their performance. Sounded great. The intro delivered by Jared Leto was rather awkward, imo.

If it wasn't NIN, Metallica, and Marilyn Manson growing up would have sucked and I would never have learned music. I personally haven't been too happy with most NIN's later work, but Pretty Hate and Downward Spiral were great albums, I may have to give the other newer work another shot isnce I am much much older now and alot more intelligent and not all rebellous like use to be.

This is pretty indicative of the music industry's feelings toward rock. It is widely considered to be a "dead genre" and gets screwed over whenever possible.
