Sabre is fine. Even if he wasn't, it's way to early to start castrating characters.

Here is a tip...His auto doubles are all correlated to heights. His lows are always on the low part of the body, his mids hit mid and his highs all hit your face.

IF the saber is going ham looping the auto doubles, you can assess accurately after 1 double what it is. BOOM Breaker.

If he resorts to linkers, aside from being able to see the difference you legit have a 50/50 on both of them. Instead of having to guess three hit levels, you need to only guess 2.

I've only been playing since just before Christmas and have yet to explore deep into any charterers yet but after trying to find counters for his dash I cant imagine a future where it gets left untouched.

Well, here's the counter to his dash you've been looking for:

Stop trying to react to where he ends up AFTER the dash. You should learn where you need to block as soon as you see him dash. The dash itself is 21 frames, so if you know the end destination, there's no excuse to not successfully react to it every time. Know based on what distance he is at whether you need to hold back or forward on your controller.

90% of the time, Sabrewulf is not in an ambiguous position where the dash might be in front or behind you. You can tell from where he is spaced where the dash will hit you. The only time a Wulf player can properly setup an ambiguous dash cross up that is difficult to block is after a throw. Every other time it is easy to react to.

It hurts me to say this because I have always been the type of player that wants games to evolve and get figured out before calling for nerfs but the dog is kinda scrubby right now.

If you have been watching the Cdjr or Fchamp stream you know what I am talking about, 17+ level SW players don't even let you move at all.

Check out the first match, the dude is not even good and he complety destroyed AcidGlow's Jago.... And this is not even close to what I have experienced and witnessed!

So what do you guys think?
HE NEEDS IT?

I'm not following when he says "the startup on the shadow is 6 frames but it comes out in 0". Someone explain it to me? From what I'm seeing on the screen cap it has no advantage on hit and -11 on block. (Shadow Eclipse) Anyway, my question still stands, what is the startup on shadow pertaining to? Is the frame data missing something?
he means that after the flash its zero frame. meaning if they dashthrough you and do shadow eclipse, if youre not blocking before the flash youre going to get hit. its pretty dumb imo

thanks for the input but my problem is not "which way do I block" its that when I was looking for ways to punish, I cant get my normals (using sadira) to consistently hit because of its invincibility frames. I just think his dash overall is toooo good. If they were to make him vulnerable throughout the dash I think that would suffice but like i said I've only been playing for just over 2 weeks so my opinions on the game are constantly changing

Not sure what you mean. There are no invincibility frames on Sabrewulf's cross-up dash. Only his backlash has invincibility frames.

So I'll assume you're referring to his backlash. Unfortunately I think Sadira is the only one who can't punish Wolf's backdash after a good read.

Though I'm not sure why you would look at a Wulf back dashing as a bad thing. It gets him off you and at a range where he really can't do much, and Sadira can start her offense.

If we are talking reads then Sadira, Jago, Orchid can all punish it on read.

I mean, I'm just gonna fight it out against the cheap stuff and see what happens but you're lying to yourself if you think SW isn't cheap.

It's fine to use cheap shit, I try to do it as much as possible but you have to admit when something is stupid good or else you're a clown.

When I abused Green Lantern's vortex on people they would say "holy shit this is stupid" my response was always "lol yea he's fucked up"

never "well maybe you should stfu scrub and go learn how to defend against him"

don't be a clown.

EDIT: just an FYI, Justin Wong admits he's cheap

I find funny all this retards calling Cdjr, Fchamp, PRbalrog, Jwong scrubs and that they need more time in the lab?... Do you have any idea of who this dudes are? Of course not, most of you started playing fighters when Inj came out lol.
