What I like about Chris G is that he kontinues to support the game even when he's more involved in other games. It's hard to manage multiple games even for Chris G.

I get that the Bane matchup is definitely rough and funky as you have to devote your attention to the venom state, but again...I felt like he wasn't really playing that as well as he could have. It seemed to me like he kept losing track of when to charge in, and Grr kept checking his D1 with an armored overhead.
The Krayzie fight was.....something else, I don't know. Krayzie played him well...but I feel like nerves got to him also. He just didn't seem at 100% in that fight to me.

I get what you're saying about ChrisG....but its just kind of annoying that this is the second time in a row at a tournament that he's been DQ'd because he couldn't be bothered to give a crap about a game a good number of people really love to watch him play. I know he's not our monkey and he can do whatever he wants, but if this is how its gonna be I kind of wish he'd just not enter and not tease us :(

Yeah.. I know what you mean. I have some theories in my head on how to play the match up but haven't been able to test it against Bane. I've been thinking of starting to play online again to get that experience.

I didn't feel like Krayzie was playing like himself either. He wasn't kounterpoking and he was dropping shit. Especially in the match before against Blackula..

As for Chris G. Sometimes players sign up for a game just to give them numbers and support it even when they have to devote their time to a different game. I kan sympathize with that since I did that for DOA (though I didn't DQ myself and actually played).. I don't think he's doing it to tease use. I think he just feels he needs to focus on his main game. That's what happens when you travel all the way down to a major. It's a kommitment of time and money. You kan level up so much at a major and he probably wants to devote that time to something else.

My favorite thing about top 8 so far is that Brad is betting all kinds of money on Noobe.

Now that everything is settled, DD players are sticking together. I respect that.
